It sounds like an optimal situation but there’s a lot riding on Isak being mature enough to reintegrate and Eddie bringing him back into the fold and back onside. If we can get a Wilson replacement plus keep Isak we’ve had a nigh on perfect window imo.

I really don’t think it’s any coincidence that the two big players we have bought from within the premier league have come from clubs in a similar situation to ourselves. You’ve said it in light hearted way but I really do feel there’s something going on under the surface of why clubs have been reluctant to sell to us/top 6 constantly gazumping us.
