Dan Ashworth (no longer working for Manchester United)

I put it to you that vastly overpaying on players who have generally flopped for the last ten years has cost you far more money than Yusuf, Gregg and Imogen who work in accounts/catering/maintenance. Cutting local jobs, great way to endear yourself Jimmy. -

And meanwhile Almiron is still a Fucking factor at this club. Utter fuckery. -
Anthony Gordon: will return to training "in next few days" (Howe)
BennyBlanco replied to a topic in Football
Absolutely fucking bollocks this. Imagine losing 10-15 goals a year and probably the same in assists. Not even like we can moneyball the fuck out of it and try and make it back in the aggregate with some cheaper players either. Bent as fuck the premier league. -
Chelsea readying a club record bid apparently. Make this PSR shit make sense someone.
-
Is this transfer moving us forward as a squad? exactly.
-
And scored how many?

What the Fucking fuck is going on here.

That comment was in regards to successful player development pal. I’m well aware of the success they’ve had but I can’t think of many young players they’ve fully developed or transformed to the rate of success Howe has had recently. That’s my overall point - I think he’d benefit much more from Howes management and guidance than he would at Chelsea. We could pretty much guarantee him first team football and a star role at a club that’s definitely on the ascendancy.

I mean if one swallow makes a summer for you then fair do’s mate. I mean we could equally point out to Joelintons transformation under Howe, Gordon’s rise, Almirons transformation from totally fucking useless to his great season before last, Lewis Miley. But yeah. Palmer, who was already great, just couldn’t get into the city side, is a mint example of player development at Chelsea. I dunno if being “ruthless” is quite the sell to a player in terms of being a stable environment to harness a players talent and ambition. “Look at all the fucking off we do and the squad/management turnover rate. . . “. Also I believe I agreed with you in regards to location and the financial package that Chelsea can offer so that point is a bit mute.

Any news of this toads tribunal case? Seen fuck all about it. -
Are you saying they are a stable club where he can flourish? Because from where I’m sitting all they seem to be able to offer him is no need to relocate and more money. There’s zero player development going on there because there isn’t a managerial structure to allow that to happen. Bias aside, if I’m a serious young footballer in the Anthony Gordon mould I am 100% looking at Newcastles player development record over the last 3 years and picking them over Chelsea.

You have to question the sporting integrity of any player that moves to Chelsea at this stage. The club is a shitshow. Run by utter buffoons, managed by someone different every season and the expectations of the fans are ridiculous. Any of them who say they are relishing the challenge or whatever other platitudes they spew when signing are lying.

The athletic are banging the Calafiori drum. I would say we are at the back of a very long line there.

Not a chance he goes for that price.

If the allegations prove true - fuck em off into the sun. We have to be whiter than white with this shit.

If anything shows just how fucked the FFP rules are its this. We identified the kid as a talent, shipped him out to the team that suited him and now some set of cunts like Liverpool or Chelsea will benefit from him. Because, although our owners could buy and sell the other pricks from the league ten times over we have to sell the lad for 20m to be able to comply with a rule thats in place to hold teams like us back. Fuck this in its calloused arsehole. -

Rumours abound that Liverpool are gunna put a bid in. Anybody but those cunts. -
Doesn’t take Poirot to figure out who the club siding with city is😂
-
Wish him well. Not the best, not the worst and before lack of match practice had him making silly errors he was fairly consistent when he was a first team player. Hope he finds another club soon.
-
This lad will be a massive addition to a midfield that missed a bit of bite in crucial games last year. Can’t wait.
-
We signed Trippier at the apex of his his career, he ain’t gunna get any better and we definitely saw the rapid beginnings of his decline as a footballer last year. He was the first statement signing through the door and a massive reason behind the culture shift but all good things must come to an end and at this stage it’s unfair to hold Tino back when the sky is the limit for him. Let’s take the money and really invest into some quality squad players.

I think in relation to the Ashworth thing - it definitely puts the ball even more firmly in our court in regards to the compo. He’s also freely broken the terms of his confidentiality agreement with us and Brighton to try and force a move. We can definitely sue for damages as it’s trying to drive the amount of compo down. Far more serious for Man U though is Berrada operating with an INEOS email because it shows intent and blatant disregard for the terms of his gardening leave. I hope City run with this. -

The only thing in Ashworths favour here is that it’s a good day to bury footballing bad news? What a silly cunt. Opened up Man United and every approach they’ve made to any personnel to so much scrutiny it’s untrue. Be highly surprised that legal action isn’t taken here by all 3 clubs involved. Ratfink thinking he operate any which way he wants - that’ll soon change. -
Fair enough. It wasn’t exactly breaking news - I think most people could have guessed that Kelly was agreed with the Howe link etc.
-
Pizza Rob is saying Kelly is done. The club do want Olise and a decent back up keeper. Can’t decide wether this lad is legit or he’s just riffing with what everyone is saying with this one.
