Nice to eventually get a high score. Daft going for us to draw really (…not a phrase that can be used in general this season!) -

I’m thinking neither Wilson nor Maxi will start and assuming Targett is fit. So, whilst there probably won’t be much change, this is my ‘flight of fancy’ of a horses for courses team. So maybe: Pope Schar Botman Burn Trippier Targett Longstaff Bruno Joelinton Isak Gordon -

Hope the draw doesn’t spoil your trip ? My kids are City fans (I’ve lived in Manchester for 17 years) preparing myself for the dog’s abuse they love dishing out! -

Only the league to focus on now, unlike some others. We’re still bang on the average points total for a 4th place finish, with many winnable games to come. Here’s hoping! -

There are always radgies, and complete knackers, and radgy knackers (translations available on request…) in all fanbases. Had a couple of good conversations with Man Utd fans, and was really proud of how our lot conducted themselves, particularly in response to the defeat. -

The things don’t go your way then sulk school of thought. Fab way to live your life. As if fans ‘having the lip on’ is going to make the slightest bit of difference, beyond contributing towards themselves, and everyone else they know, having a more miserable life. -
Saw Shola going into Boxpark. Gave him a quick song and thumbs up; we had an optimistic prematch moment.
-
? I was there pre mad post match. Particular highlight was the ‘get out of our pub, get out of our pub!’ Serenade of the foolish Manc fans who wandered in.
-
Delighted to hear how the day went for all—let’s gloss over the match—and particularly delighted to hear how welcome and at home you felt. Don’t be a stranger bonny lad ?

I’m all for loyalty and team spirit. But, Isak should have started today and we should have kept Lobby on.
-
Should have started. 100%.

Well, that was an experience. Lovely singing Blaydon Races and other classics on way back to Wembley Park Tube, team defeated but fans unbowed. Super proud. -
Is it time yet? Trooped ten miles around London, drank more than I should, sang all six verses of Blaydon Races in Piccadilly (accompanied by busking African drummer), saw beginnings of Trafalgar gathering, did a Jack the Ripper tour (because why not?). Just want it to start now. Well, after a full English and a bit more prematch lubrication!
-
Just hijacked an African drummer’s busking spot in Piccadilly, sang full version of Blaydon Races at full pelt (he banged along) didn’t earn a fucking penny ?. About six people filmed me though—stingy bastards!
