It’s a good point re not rushing to judgement. He’s young, full of raw talent and may well evolve positionally. At present though, it isn’t just one game. I’ve watched him in about three games look a little exposed, be caught out of position or lose the ball cheaply in areas you don’t want to give away possession. Reminds me a bit of Beresford, though not as quick. He may grow into an even better full back but, particularly, with Schar missing I wouldn’t be surprised to see Kelly starting.

Right back in my good books today. Not least for ‘that’ tackle and rushing to the skirmish in the tunnel. Warrior.

Just seen one angle where the hairy faced, groomed-yeti, fella actually had the bare (hair?) faced cheek to pivot/move his head the final couple of inches into the handsome fella’s forehead. If anyone looked closely at that we’d have a chance of it being over turned. Basically Yeti not only feigned being hurt, he actually made the head contact happen.

Ah! You’ve got the Flipper, cabin boy from good ship Venus, version. Best be careful… .

Gordon, Isak and Bruno not quite clicking into their game is a concern. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen too many times.

Look at the strength of that bench! -
Dion Dublin has made it into my book. And had his name underlined: “Steve Parrish will know, it has to be £80m or don’t bother coming looking.”

I know it’s best to keep emotions out of ‘business’ decision making, but I am struggling to restrain a rising fuckyouedness about this deal now. Think we should move on. Maybe pick him up next season for less, if still needed.

In a less budget conscious era, Miggy even at his age and diminishing value is the kind of player any team would like to keep hold of. His experience, energy, bond with the club, likability with fans and with his team mates makes him a phenomenal option in the squad. Assuming that squad has a better first choice option who provides as much threat and is as difficult to contain as Gordon on the other side. I think a lot of the noise is born from the length of time we have needed to strengthen that position and the fact/thought that he has turned down two transfer offers now, so he is seen as blocking our progression.

Was there was some point where the ‘it’s not Guehi day’ frustration pushed many to point of wanting to emigrate? And we’ve had Canada’s Tourist Board pitch? Canada sounds welcoming, but come on Hawaiian Mags, we want to hear from you!

Not as catchy on a banner.

We’re supposedly muscling in on Gallagher’s move to Atlético, which has seemingly run into trouble regarding some image-rights clause. We’ll see.

They accepted £38m for full England international Conor Gallagher, probably only edged out of their player of the season award by the phenomenal form of Cole Palmer, and a previous player of the season when on loan to ‘Glass Hovel’.

Would be timely for him to get run out against Forest, which will surely be on Wednesday 28th.
