  1. ? tbf that’s exactly what I was dreaming of!
  2. Just watched the second one. Thanks @Toontimes. Flashback of (nearly not getting into…) that Blackpool away game. Donned in Somberos and grass skirts (homage to Mira ?‍♂️) after all day drinking and Pleasure Beach shenanigans.
  3. Talking of unleashing the beast, the devil makes work for idle hands… Original ‘tune’: ? Oh you pretty Chitty Bang Bang Chitty Chitty Bang Bang We love you. And, our Pretty Chitty Bang Bang Chitty Chitty Bang Bang loves us too. High, low, anywhere we go on Chitty Chitty we depend. Bang Bang Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Our fine four fendered friend. ? To… “toon tune” ?: Oh you Ekitike-tike-bang-bang Ekitike-tike-bang-bang We love you! And, our Ekitike-tike-bang-bang Ekitike-tike-bang-bang Loves us too! Home, away, everywhere we go on Ekitike-tike we depend. Bang bang Ekitike-tike-bang-bang Our French goal scoring friend!
  4. He’s even got a Bruno-Linton hairdo! Howay Eddie, get it done. Joking aside, he’s a proper number 9. Suspect he’d score well at any level/in any company. Appreciate now might not really be the time for such extravagant spending but it is/would be so exciting to imagine watching a lad like that spearheading our attack.
  5. He would do! Hadn’t dawned on me he was recently at Lille too (ala Tyneside wary Botman). Also played for Philippe Albert’s Charleroi. Pretty close to a goal every other game everywhere. He would definitely do!
  6. Think I’ll go and do some wishful thinking via the medium of YouTube ?
  7. https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1620722/Newcastle-transfer-news-Arsenal-Victor-Osimhen-Napoli-gossip-rumours-update “ The Nigerian forward has scored 28 goals in the last 24 months since arriving in Italy from Lille in 2020. And his form in Italy last season has led to speculation of a big-money move this summer. Arsenal had been touted as a possible destination with the Gunners desperate to bring in a superstar signing up front. But the Gunners have reportedly been put off by Napoli's £85million asking price. That could open the door for Newcastle to swoop in, with Calciomercato claiming the Magpies have been 'wooing' the forward for 'some time'. The report suggests that Osimhen's preference would be to play in the Premier League.” Any validity to this? Osimhen for mega bucks?
  8. Just watched the third one; the ‘corporate hospitality’ is so… so… local pub meat draw. I’d forgotten all about Peter Jackson. I used to really like him.
  9. ? it’s too tempting. Plus kinda inspires two players. Bruno is bound to think we’re singing his praises!

    England

    Christ! It’s a boring game.
  11. Peak age range for goalies and centre backs seems a bit young!
  12. Good read. This radgy not signed yet? Could really do with a bath!
  13. Fuck Aristotle, The Venerable Bede invented some form of Maths in Jarrow… oh! That doesn’t help. Despite his Tyneside home, he probs had an eighth century liking for all things red and white and hated gravy. Anyhow, think it amounted to just counting on his fingers or some such malarkey.
  14. Meet me at McDonald’s haircut… ? I’m repeatedly chuckling like a loon! ?
  15. I could do with a bath, a long luxurious transfer bath!
  16. Not sure about 20% of Gateshead being Sunderland fans… I went to what was biggest Comp in Gateshead (at the time) and of 2,200 pupils I knew of only two Sunderland fans (both because of their family).
  17. ‘Kin hell ?… ? and his dad’s got a taxi ? ? ?
  18. It’s probs that fucking eyesore of a statue above Rio.
  19. https://www.leeds-live.co.uk/sport/leeds-united/leeds-united-transfer-rumours-midfielder-24024883 With Longstaff signed, and Bruno established as first name on the team sheet, reckon we’d have to sell (Shelvey?) if this is still a goer given their PL survival.
  20. Yep, but I get the sense that we may well get more for him now than at any time in future. With the options, I sincerely hope we will have, I don’t think he’ll feature as much unless he ups his all round game. Whilst you obviously play with the assets/potential assets you have, I don’t think he is the kind of player Howe would have bought. So if he fancies someone else in that role, and has the opportunity to secure them (bit of speculation about Jack Harrison in the rumour mill…) now might well be the time to offload.
  21. They’ve also got the young Argentine forward to come in (Alvarez—has been scoring for fun since loaned back to River Plate, apparently). Plays wide or central forward and might be seen as a better option to complement Haaland. I recall Pep stating that Jesus had originally been bought to play alongside Aguero rather than as a replacement/tactical option.
