  1. Truth in that, but no player is ‘on it’/a real difference maker, every game. For example, I understand neither Isak or Bruno looked at their best yesterday and Gordon’s decision making received quite a bit of flak. Guess we all want a full team of players whose ‘cycles’ are mainly made up of large proportion of positive performances and less of the rest. Also a bench with players who can put in positive performances, but are probably going to do so less consistently.
  2. We do have something to play for. Yesterday wasn’t the must win game. Wednesday is; I think that is the point.
  3. How was the ‘lap of appreciation’ or whatever they are calling it now.
  4. Fair play to you. Must have been a long day, but good weather and a great outcome ?
  5. This cunt signed for Sunderland yet? (…couldn’t resist).
  6. Well, add two wins to the tally and our away record will look a bit better.
  7. Probably help us do better in the league. But either of the two European competitions we might make, would probably be our best chance of winning a trophy.
  8. Or win at Old Trafford and draw at Brentford and hope Chelsea don’t win all three. If we do win both, and Spurs lose to Man City, then it’ll be an interesting (and Sheffield United supporting) final day. We’d get fifth on GD if Spurs lost that final game.
  9. Unless injured, exhausted, or you have one fit striker and a six pointer at Old Trafford for your next game.
  10. Did you go into the ground @Dokko did you? I hope you’re suitably ashamed.
  11. Not sure it is hate, just recently a level of disbelief at, for example, your idea that signing someone from a mid table/non top six team inevitably means they are good enough. Given just about everyone thinks this is a ridiculous premise, seems people have reached the conclusion that you are not really expressing your views and are just fishing for a bite/on the wind-up.
  12. That’s my concern today. Imagine if it’s a tight game or we’re trying to claw back into it, Isak running on empty towards the end and… can’t even finish the thought. Prospect of going to a very beatable version of Man Utd, for a game which really matters, without a striker is horrific.
  13. Given it’s the last home game, really odd if Wilson isn’t there. Even if injured.
  14. Four first team outfield players on the bench, plus Pope. Nice! Shame about Wilson. Got to feel for him. Comes back as if he hadn’t been away and let down by his body again.
  15. Foolishly got rid of streaming kit (as but the bullet paid for Sky & TNT). Can’t seem to pick-up Radio Newcastle here (Warrington). Left with frustration of intermittent score updates on national radio and grubby-gardening-handed checking in here ?‍♂️
