  1. Fucking great back to that useless cunt Ritchie.
  2. Back to Matt fucking Ritchie at left back aswell for next few games. Unlikely to pick up anything before transfer window opens, going into Jan on 10 points is a mountain to climb. We really are now relying on other teams having a shit December, or Covid giving us a reprieve. We needed to be on 15 points at turn of the year for me. These players have let the new owners and fans down massively, the sooner most of them are slung out the fucking door the better.
  3. No Van Dijk happy days. 0-1 jingle bells jingle bells……
  4. Be interested to know how independent this company is that’s been chosen to determine a fair value. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/sportsnews/article-10310421/Newcastle-Manchester-City-LEGAL-action-new-commercial-deal-rules.html
  5. The worst thing in the last 14 years has been this club just bending over and taking it up the arse. Look at the Andy Carroll sale what a fucking deflating experience that was at the time. Who wants a club that when you reach a certain level, the big clubs just pick your best players off. Where heading into this transfer window wondering who we’re going to sign for the first time in years. These owners won’t bow to anyone, sure we’ll get all the stories about Staveley being clueless punted by the nationals, but the truth is they’re rattled to fuck. We might be shit on the pitch at the minute, but the worm will start turning big time for us in next few weeks.
  6. What’s even worse than the 5 clubs is the 13 other clubs who have gone along with this. None of them can see the bigger picture of these cunts trying to pull up the drawbridge and protecting their CL income. They’re all just consumed by self interest and probably accept they’ll never compete, so are happy to condemn us to also rans aswell. At the minute the 13 would rather see the 6 keep their place and us be relegated. This is the same 6 clubs who want the CL places to be stitched up regardless of league placing with UEFA. It’s all well and good saying this doesn’t really bother me and we’d rather be a West Ham or a Leicester and grow organically. However, where that falls down is when one of these 6 clubs comes along and takes your Tielmans or Declan Rice and you can’t do fuck all about it. That’s why I’m unashamedly still fucking delirious that not one of those fucking clubs will ever steal one of our players again. Because put simply they couldn’t fucking afford to. How do you grow organically when Liverpool steal Bobby Clark and Chelsea link up with a school in our fucking city to steal the best young talent. Nah fuck organically announce Aramco in an 80 million deal tomorrow and let the fuckers try and stop us.
  7. I think we’ll put this to the test immediately and announce some big deals. Reject them and they’ll be facing another anti competition case.
  8. And so it begins it’ll be the likes of Salah soon. The revolution will be televised. https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/newcastle-liverpool-coaching-staff-mark-leyland-b1975990.html
  9. Who put the signs in the fucking skip O’Briens O’Briens
  10. Exactly the type of player we need in middle of the park. Has to be an absolute priority alongside defenders. This bloke and Kamara from Marseille would give us a new dynamic for 2nd half of season. https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/newcastle-transfer-fofana-new-toure-25690250
  11. Chelsea and Liverpool both have plans to increase their stadium, they’re not standing still. When the time comes if you can’t expand St Jame’s with potentially 10000 to 15000 wanting in for certain games, the only option is to move. These people aren’t here to be middle of the road they build new cities from sand. I think folk will have to move with the times and be prepared to match the new owners ambition.
  12. You can’t stick with 52000 and claim to be a big club when the likes of West Ham, Spurs, Man City and soon Everton will all have surpassed us. Leeds also have plans to expand Elland Road, we can’t stay at St Jame’s if expansion is not possible. The reason many of us are so excited about this takeover is the untapped potential of what this club could become, we simply can’t tie ourselves to St Jame’s because of an emotional attachment. Castle Leazes is still probably the best option, it opens up Leazes Terrace and keeps City Centre location.
  13. JD sports now stocking NUFC merch since Ashley fucked off. You could try their online site.
  14. Best post on the subject I’ve read and lays out exactly why a new stadium is the only option down the line whether most like it or not. History is great but our new owners want to be the best and if they feel it’s necessary to move we should support them all the way. Clubs like West Ham now attract 60k we can’t be restricted by SJP if we want to truly be a top club. The only thing I disagree about is SJP not being particularly loud post Taylor, the atmosphere under Keegan came from all 4 stands and exceeded anything I ever heard post old Leazes terrace roof coming off. The place used to be rocking, I’ll never forget the Cantona 1 nil game the place was deafening a full 20 Mins before kick off and I can genuinely say I’ve never heard the place as loud as that night ( though admittedly we did run out of steam in 2nd half). These owners have the money to secure a city centre stadium, let them get on with it when that time comes.
  15. I’m sure our new owners could pull something like this off. Failing that another old git who’s happy to move to arena site or Castle Leazes. The atmosphere at 36000 St Jame’s under Keegan was something else, however since redevelopment the sound doesn’t carry around the ground. A purpose built stadium with good acoustics and better sight lines than level 7 brings would be my preferred option.
  16. Keith used to regularly start the east stand gallowgate wing off with a ditty on match days. We are the Geordie boys and Warren Barton centre parting we’re a couple. Sad that a lot of real die hards we’re sickened so much from the Ashley regime that they probably won’t ever return. Good to know he’s still knocking about though.
  17. Will probably be Keith used to sit near him in East Stand for years. Got banned after a run in at Hull away, shame was black and white through and through went everywhere during the Keegan years.
  18. Perspective needed Chelsea and Wolves didn’t beat these at home, it’s rarely going to be a great performance against this lot. Cracking result against a very tough team.
  19. Aye was half hearted attempt with a 50/50 outside their box near the end. Catch 22 still think back 4 needs protection though.
  20. Much better than Ritchie but seems to struggle with his bearings when receiving the ball. Have to admit haven’t seen much of him previously, but he has an uncanny knack of turning back to his face his own goal and back into the opposition player. Apart from that no complaints holds his position far better defensively.
  21. Whitley mag

    Joelinton

Tremendous display worked his socks off.
  22. What a shit house, all we had to do was keep it simple at the back tonight. Obviously beyond this useless cunt what a fucking disgrace.
