  1. What’s Edwards had to say about Mike giving up, are we into double figures for the number of times he’s been wrong.
  2. The PL are not a cash rich organisation either, the operation is actually quite small. This could get very tasty, especially in the current climate. One things for sure other clubs will be f***ing furious If the PL has the financial support of those other clubs they'll be alright. £10million off each of them should see them alright. Aye can see them being happy with that, we’ll be fucking hated

  4. Steve Wraith inferred yesterday that it’s not one person, he knows who they are and they more than likely have a source or sources within club.
  5. Yet he drivel’s on about Mauriss still being in talks. I honestly thought Lee Ryder was untouchable but this cunt has left him for dead.
  6. Absolutely under a Corbyn government it would be dead in the water, take the North of Tyne Mayor as an example. He hasn’t even stirred himself despite the promise of millions worth of investment.
  7. This, I’ve just been reading his twitter account never paid much attention before. It’s certainly very funny and does seem to call stuff.
  8. Has money mike ever been as active as this, he seems to have gone into overdrive. The fact he’s winding up some of the worst local journalists is even better.
  9. My take after this week nothing has changed, the political pressure and moves will continue behind the scenes. Ashley clearly frustrated by lack of movement and getting his money, but crucially no statement from PCP to say it’s over. I notice Staveley’s husband is still liking posts on twitter apparently re takeover, where in a long game and they’re not done yet. In the meantime as much as I hate club in its current guise and was happy to see it and PL rot, I have changed my mind, and believe a solid steady season will aid us get this through. Any flirtation with relegation will only sow seeds of doubt on Saudi side. With the likes of Philip Hammond and senior govt officials lobbying for this we have powerful allies, and the PL will certainly need govt support during coming season. The make up and level of support with this bid will wear the bastards down eventually.
  10. The judge is a complete wind up merchant! I like him, better than all the “I’m right you’re wrong” crew. Stop being wrong then.
  11. Timing wise, looks like it. He was the most positive about it happening hence why I questioned these two. Are you a policeman ? And don’t re write history you said nothing was happening and mocked certain posters for believing it was. As for deleting your account, that would be the most positive thing since version 2.0 failed. Ha, love you too I didn’t believe anything was happening. Other than what I heard last night about the government putting pressure on, I’m still not convinced much is happening. Honestly hope you’re right though. You started back at college ok btw? Still ongoing. If only I was young enough for college

  13. Exactly step forward your friends at NUST who seem to have given up and gone on holiday. I’m completely out of order on that, apparently. Which one of you two was Godzilla on here? That’ll be Cheesy beans, however more to the point do you now accept the takeover wasn’t dead ? Your credibility along with a few other on here is now zero. Maybe you should delete your account and come back as Frank Pingel, oh hold on that’s already taken, maybe Rob McDonald he was pretty useless aswell. Strangely enough Rob McDonald was my second choice of user name. Two fine strikers I can see how you were torn. Both fine and relevant figureheads for this great club. Hoy in Billy Askew behind both of them and who’d need the fucking Saudis.

  15. So Prince William has done for Bill Bush, thought I was losing the plot I like it though.

  18. Absolutely clear. The PL have been getting away with brushing this under the carpet, they are clearly not acting in accordance with their own rules. The vague calls for 'transparency' are easy for the PL to bat away and ignore, but this is something clear and unequivocal that the PL shouldn't be able to hide from. So why aren't any of the local journalists flagging this and pushing and pushing the PL to respond. There too busy regurgitating s*** from twitter as its an easy living thats why! Exactly, the PL have been given far too much of an easy ride on this from journalists, supporters groups and MPs. What they have said about the process (not being able to make a decision until they've received a declaration from another entity) seems to have just been accepted without scrutiny or question. Anyone who actually takes the time to read through the rule on the O&D test could see that they've blatantly disregarded the proper process. True--the PL should have given the F.6 notice. Unfortunately, though, it wouldn't help the transaction go through, as the PL would very likely prevail on any appeal of that point (assuming KSA/MBS/etc. haven't given declarations). Why would they, we’ve had football law and even Qatari’s accept PIF are separate entity amongst others. The point being they should have right to appeal, and if it goes to CAS or high court the appeal will be based on the whole decision, not one aspect like the PL are trying to rail road them into.
  19. NUFC 360 think this has been a fantastic week for the club. Let that f***ing sink in......last time I checked the ground still looked a f***ing dump, the training ground is still 3rd rate, we still have a dope as manager and an owner who doesn’t want to be here. Oh and to top it off on Tuesday the club and consortium thought we were about to become the richest club in the world. You can keep your fantastic week you f***ing idiots.
  20. For those who knock Caulkin, he’s been pretty on the money since version 1.0 failed. He said the next statement would come from Newcastle even though none of us knew what that meant at the time, and he also said it was down to political/govt intervention. All spot on and exactly where it’s still at, the only difference is Ashley has flew off the handle at latest pressure/docs not having desired effect. The fact there has been no announcement from PCP/PIF suggest the fight goes on behind the scenes. The govt notifying Masters there’ll be no fans all season unless he approves, may do the trick.
  21. Fail them on which grounds? The purpose of the test as far as I recall was to ensure the financial stability of the club is paramount. It’s for this reason not passing it is so controversial. The test isn’t a moral one. Just seen an extract posted on Twitter from the O&T test, and there is a section that states a director can be disqualified if required information isn't submitted (or words to that effect). The PL claim they are/have been asking for information that isn't forthcoming, so surely that gives them the grounds the disqualify PIF/The consortium and reject the takeover, if they indeed want to follow their own rules? Doesn't that come back to the issue of if MBS calls the shots? They ask for info on the owner, we give them stuff about assorted PIF goons, they roll their eyes and say "No, the owner" There’s no goons on the PIF, all upstanding chaps.
  22. For once Mike Ashley can be trusted on this, technically they may not have rejected it, but in reality this state of limbo appears to be their tactic of rejection. The PL are being very canny here by making clear the offer of arbitration, any referral to CAS or the high court at this point will surely fall flat having not taken up this offer. That’s why Ashley and consortium want this rejected, then they have a clear route to appeal on the whole decision, not just one aspect of it. Of course this is still all bollocks and they don’t really give a shit about whether they’re a separate entity, reinstate bein sports in Saudi Arabia and it gets approved.
  23. Absolutely devastating to think it possibly could have been approved on Tuesday.
