I might be In minority but got to say I’d be disappointed if we committed to a permanent deal for Phillips. He’s 28 barely played and if we we’re obligated to fork out 40 million of our budget on him I think it would look a short sighted deal in January, with many better options potentially out there next summer. If it’s a 3 million loan deal without an obligation it potentially makes sense, it would be a stop gap until Tonali returns, but big part of me hopes it’s a bull shit rumour and we have something a bit more exciting lined up.

If I was going for a domestic right sided player it would be Michael Olise bags of potential.

I think PIF would build anything but a flatpack, it would likely be something up with the very best. There’s no way the East Stand is getting renovated into anything befitting a top tier stadium unless they can do something with the terrace, which looks highly unlikely to me.

Watched a couple of videos of inside the new Anfield road end at Anfield, whilst it’s not finished you can already see the concourse isn’t a patch on the Spurs stadium. Looks very dated and certainly no wow factor. After seeing that it’s made my mind up a new stadium is 100% the way to go at Castle Leazes, or the arena site.

I can’t stand the phone culture but got mixed feelings on day trippers. If they’re genuine fans and not a fan of Chelsea on a stag do I don’t have a problem. In a way it’s great the club is growing and attracting fans from all over. The atmosphere must be protected though and the way we do that is with expanded safe standing badged clearly as singing enclosures.

Someone in here compared to him Jenas when he first burst on the scene at Forrest, whatever we think of Jenas in his time here it’s not a bad comparison in terms of style. Gyokores should have been a target in the summer makes the Barnes deal all the more baffling to me. Barnes isn’t known for pressing, or his all round play and we didn’t need a left winger as a priority. Gyokeres would have been a great buy at the price Sporting paid, I’m hoping this new Dutch super scout has real clout in targets going forward as the summer apart from Tino was poor to say the least.

This nonsense with the tickets is a bit like their pretend outrage about human rights, if boot was on other foot and we were kicking off about giving them 15%, they’d be bleating on about us breaking FA rules and how they should absolutely be allowed the full allocation.
