I guess they’ve deemed it fair market value though for a hotel in London, but yes there would be hell on.

Yankuba Minteh (now playing for Brighton & Hove Albion)

Always hard to judge a player in the Dutch league, but the fact he’s lightening quick should help him convert to the PL easier. Seems to have a knack for dispossessing players high up the pitch as well, which will lend itself to our high pressing style. -
I mean Schar would have some nerve for calling anyone for falling down.

The last Wembley trip said everything about the age and profile of our season ticket holders, clearly not bad people but when it comes to creating an atmosphere they don’t want to know.
-
It will never be a truly great stadium if we can’t do anything with the East Stand, one look in the atmosphere thread from last night also confirms that the whole acoustics of the place are shite. It needs to be a complete rebuild job if we stay at SJP for me, mirroring level 7 at the Gallowgate End will kill the place stone dead, the current level 7 is so poorly designed, why the hell we’d want to mirror it at the Gallowgate End is beyond me.

Undoubtedly needs to get ruthless in the summer, no excuse for likes of Ritchie, Wilson, Lascelles and Dummett being here next season.

As much as I think where crying out for a keeper, I can’t see us spending 30-40 million on one this summer. Think the Valencia keeper is the way to go, but have a feeling it’ll be an ageing experienced keeper on the cheap to cover Pope. Think where looking at 2 CB’s and a hybrid right sided forward who can also lead the line, along with a few youngsters that might be our lot.

My 2 preferred options are build a new super stadium at Castle Leazes and transform current site into a well maintained park for the whole city to use. The 2nd and I think likely option is they’ll purchase land for a huge training complex, which will incorporate a new 30k stadium for woman’s team, 20k would probably be ideal, but they’ll go 30k as this will be used whilst they flatten SJP and rebuild completely on the current site. With the Euro’s being at SJP I think the 2nd option lets us concentrate on training complex in the interim period. Just extending the Gallowgate isn’t a signal of lack of ambition in my opinion, but it is flawed in the long term unless it involves a massive upgrading of all 3 other stands as well.

Not sure i’d be doing a line off the piss covered bog seats at St James like.

Grounds full of old cunts and young kids, no wonder the atmosphere is fucking shite most weeks.

Does seem that Eddie is either very unlucky with injuries, or there’s something underlying him and his team need to look at, as history seems to be repeating itself. https://bournemouth.vitalfootball.co.uk/howe-launches-full-review-into-why-bournemouth-suffered-so-many-injuries-this-season/ https://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/nov/06/eddie-howe-injuries-bournemouth-newcastle-united

Kubo would be exciting and taps into the Japanese market, which should appeal massively to club and adidas.
-
Cant see this increasing capacity by more than 6k and how many of them will be corporate, as @Wandy has pointed out atmosphere will be seriously fucked.
-
Figured rush keeper was preferable to Dubravka.

5-2-3-1 RW - Isak - Barnes/Gordon Sesko
-
Nice kit but will be all the extra gear where adidas come into their own.
-
Would look spectacular with an extended Leazes Park stretching down to Strawberry Place. A well maintained park in the city centre would be a huge addition to city.

Probably out of our price range this summer but look exactly the type of creative midfielder we need, top clubs already circling unfortunately. https://x.com/FTalentScout/status/1772739959738212672?s=20 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U1dhQR9HuOU

Don’t even think it’s about facilities for me though it’d be great to have better brighter concourses with local products being served. The main issue is the poor design of level 7, its poor sight lines and feeling of detachment from the atmosphere. I’m not greatly impressed by the latest Anfield Road expansion, but the extra tier added at least looks part of the stadium.
-
Spot on they’ll be voting with the 6 on everything as they’ll have no other ambitions other than profit.
-
Which shows the folly of signing Barnes, i would move Gordon to the right and utilise Isak,Anderson and Barnes on the left. The unknown is also Minteh if he impresses in pre-season.
-
Sesko, Hincapie and Scalvini/Diomande would be my 3 big signings this summer if we could stretch to it. Think the back line needs seriously upgraded and we won’t have funds to strengthen every area required. Tonali and Joelinton hopefully back to strengthen midfield and still don’t think we’ve got the best out of Isak. I would start utilising Isak on the left, or in a 4-2-3-1 to get the best out of him and signing Sesko would give us that option. Would love a keeper and another creative midfielder/wide right attacker, but think defence is now priority unfortunately.
-
With Tonali coming back in the summer at this point I’d blow the whole budget on LB, CB and right forward. Without Botman think the whole team will be built on quick sand next season without serious investment in the back line.

Fucking just send a message that means business 70k new super stadium on Castle Leazes, let the top 6 shit themselves when they see it and try to rush in new rules to incorporate stadium expansion in expenditure.
