People definitely need to keep a hold, but losing to the mackems would provoke a meltdown of unprecedented levels. We all need to keep the bigger picture in mind and though I do think he has some flaws, he’s undoubtedly the best man for us in the foreseeable.
-
Losing to the mackems is hard to recover from as an NUFC manager, in recent times only Robson recovered in my opinion. I certainly wouldn’t want us firing a manager on the back of losing to them cunts they’d love it. However, this is massive for Howe to keep things on track and moving forward in the grand scheme.
-
One of the few who can actually pass the ball as well, its a sign Howe is slightly struggling to find answers at the minute and was very out of character to make an early change like that.
-
Apart from Bruno and he can be hitty miss when we start chasing the game, who actually out of our midfield and wide players is good at passing and looking up ? If Howe wants a quick, pressing, power based running team, it’s just not going to cut it unless we get a clever player slotted in somewhere. We are massively missing St Maximum’s unpredictability and creativity, he got this massively wrong in the summer and has left us very predictable and pedestrian.
-
Got it wrong in the summer apart from Tino and where paying the price now unfortunately. Yeah nobody could foresee injuries to Barnes and Tonali ban, problem is neither we’re what we needed in first place.
-
Yip lack of players with real technical quality, running and physicality isn’t enough unfortunately, especially when we’re gassed.

Today could be a good indicator on how we’ll fare in this game, Luton might be more physical than the mackems, but keen to see how we go in these surroundings today and how composed we look. -
Benjamin Sesko, Kone, Tomori and Kavarodona let’s stop fucking about.

Let’s face it Brighton have hardly crumbled since his departure. Of course he’s replaceable it might be a blow in short term, but to be honest i’d be seriously questioning his integrity and judgement if he left us at this point anyway. -

I don’t think a DOF has been treat like a god anywhere, you lads expect success don’t kid yourself, there’s a permanent stench of entitlement from even your younger local fans. -
Fingers crossed don’t think he’s the answer and worries me we’d even be considering him. Signings like this are a massive change of course, big club reject on massive wages. Hope we stick to our hungry young player model of Bruno, Botman, Gordon and Isak types.

I could only imagine our resolve being tested if the daft fuckers offered us way north of 5 million compensation. -
I certainly think we could do with a midfielder despite Miley’s rise but don’t think it’s a priority. Our forward attacking options are poor compared to top 4 rivals, the fact where down to possibly just Almiron and Ritchie this weekend and had to flog Gordon all season. We desperately need some added fire power on the right side of the attack and creativity. It doesn’t even have to be 60 million player this window, someone like this lad would just give us another option where we don’t need to rely on fucking Matt Ritchie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjNi8EyLBCw

It was Lawrenson that was the night KK realised he was done at the top level apparently.

Easily might have been the wrong word but he’s certainly very replaceable, I would hope a lot of the structure and recruiting behind the scenes is in place now which would make it easier for someone coming in now. -

Brailsfords mate by all accounts which would explain why he might be tempted. To be honest he might be doing great things behind the scenes which is kind of his remit, but on the surface I think he’s easily replaceable and think if his legacy was the summer transfer window, it’s been the worst one since the takeover.
