We must be the only team in the country that does not have a single player who can tackle.
-
Out of his depth at the moment. Looks like a struggling young lad from the reserve team who is playing because the regular left back is injured, rather than a £15 million hot prospect.
-
He's nearer garbage than great. Blatant weakness.
-
The work rate of other teams is so much higher than ours. Allan Saint-Maximin, for example, needs to watch Kevin Bruyne. His technique combined with such a high work rate is what makes him world class. ASM will never fulfill his potential until he starts grafting. Same as the rest of our team. And of course it goes without saying that we need a new manager with decent tactics, which I appreciate would help players commitment enormously.

Just as good as Dubravka for me.

10 yards too deep, can't press, can't win the ball, can't get 2nd balls, can't pass the ball. Totally and utterly embarrassing. F**K off Bruce.
-
Can't mark, can't track, can't tackle, can't create, can't pass a ball accurately beyond 5 yards and no pace. Championship standard at best.
-
Hendricks is dog s***, championship standard at best. And Fernandez's distribution is woeful. Etc. etc...
-
Murphy dropped, always seems to happen to him after he's had a good game. Hope not though.

An absolute Bruce masterclass in shit team selection, shit substitutions and shit tactics. Well done son.

Sad but nice story. https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newport-county-make-brilliant-gesture-19022755

Looking back through this thread , the news posted on the Blackstone site was: "Shaheed Fatima QC and Nick De Marco QC are acting for Newcastle United FC and Mike Ashley (instructed by Dentons) in a dispute with the Premier League about its rejection of a takeover bid made by PCP Capital Partners, the Reuben Brothers and the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia (PIF) based on its Owners and Directors test." I can't see whether that was the whole statement, but given that they have now removed this, surely it must be of concern? I'm certainly concerned.

Anyone else sick of hearing "if Rafa" blah blah. I can't be the only one who didn't really enjoy his negative sideways style football. Call me dinosaur old school (or considerably worse probably), but I like football played on the front foot, even if that does involve some high balls with support players feeding off them.

So nothing we didn't know already including further confirmation that the deal is dead. I think what is pi**ing me off more than anything right now, is how Amanda Staveley asked the fans to rally and to put pressure on, then she promptly disappears without trace. I think we more than deserve some sort of explanation from her.
-
I would prefer to see him given another chance here. He's better than Atsu for example.
-
If I was cynical which I am, as Amanda S knew the deal was dead the moment PIF made the withdrawal announcement, maybe she rallied the troops in a desperate bid to prove to any new investor that she was indispensable in any new takeover bid? Imagine how gutted she would be if, after all her efforts over 3 years, a person/group came in and bought her beloved NUFC without her being involved. Maybe she was trying to ensure, as much as she could, that no-one should buy NUFC without getting her on board?

Love this. As if being named player of a season in which the club was relegated carries any real weight (unlike him har har har). It's basically "least s***". Aye, all s***, Tim Krul, Fabricio Coloccini, Georginio Wijnaldum, Moussa Sissoko, Papiss Cisse, Jamaal Lascelles, Ayoze Perez, Cheick Tiote and Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Club's Player of the Season 2015/16 and a decent goalie in my view. Good luck to him.
