I didn't know Botman at all when we signed him other than a few youtube posts. I've watched Madison a fair bit. I agree he's class on the ball, but I don't think he suits our identity as either a pressing wide forward or compliments Bruno in the center. So personally, I'm not sure where he fits right now, but yes I'm happy to look stupid if he comes and succeeds, I just think there are better options out there...you know opinions!

Grafter, but limited as hell and predictable as fuck. Actually prefer Murphy and never thought Id ever say that.

Is it definitely Gordon as CM, not Miggy? Miggy ended the last game in CM I think, no? -
Honestly not that arsed over Madison. Rather the Hungarian. Seems similar in style, but has a turn of pace and physicality. For me, Madison is sluggish and not a great athlete - Either way, I trust the process and Wor Eddie and Dan.
-
Definitely think we've passed the JWP level. He's really one-paced also. Lavia yes. Personally, I'd go Ugarte/Thuram, DS (the Hungarian lad), Tierney, and a high-quality Young Striker and Centre Halve to come from the bench. Madison would be a bonus if Eddie doesn't want the Hungarian. Guler would be canny too, my Turkish mate, raves about him. Excited to see who we go for...

Tactical masterclass by the Manager of the season. Big second half. Just need to calm it a bit! no silly red cards. Amazing performance to a man! Chuffed for the big fucker! -
Very very good tonight, so far! In the squad for next season!
-
This man! fucking legend!
-
Tierney fits the bill, continuing to play a back 4 which reverts to a 3 when Tripps gets forward. Tierney is well versed as a Left Centre Halve also. Depending on the price, he's a definite upgrade.

Another one that's simply looking a bit tired. he's the target now it seems - it was Longstaff a few months back...(and that dated well) He and Bruno are vital but they are fucking exhausted and probably playing at 70%. We need a squad. Simples.
-
There are a few on here that need to chill the fuck out. You don't automatically win every game. There's a middle ground and it's often called a draw. We were sloppy but it was always going to be a frantic, full-throttle game. Disappointing not to win, not much Trippier could do tbh, take the draw and move on.
-
Looks shattered to me and takes one too many liberties on the ball at times. Otherwise still a legend. Long fucking season for him.
-
but he's not premier league quality according to a fair few on here. Miss him big time!
-
Frustrating game. Big Jo and Bruno terrible today. Had we went ahead I think we would have won it. Sadly we never. Game of fine margins. On to the next!

James Maddison (now playing for Tottenham Hotspur)

Tend to agree. He's undoubtably a great footballer. I don't think he's athletic enough out of possession to play in our system, right now anyway. But he would give us another dimension on the ball and in terms of vision and control of tempo. Not sure we can have him and Bruno in Midfield together either. I'd love to see him here and how Eddie would use him, but if it were him or a high intensity ball playing DM like Ugarte or Rice, I think I'd go for the later. -

Fuck off man! Dan Burn getting the blame again? Much like Longstaff? who we are missing again, he gets the shite for everything. It was Bruno fucking around and Trippier not watching his man. Simple. We've been poor all round. Big Joe has been crap and again we miss Longstaff in there, it's clear to see. -
Poor game of football this. Almiron, Willock and a few others been no where near good enough. Wilson did well for the goal but still think our general play suffers without Isak.
-
There goes my stream lacking
-
Think we miss Isak, dropping off into space and linking the play. Wilson is great but far more one dimensional.
