Aye they were fucking shite. These are the sort of things that I found frustrating last night, all across the pitch poor execution when we had our opportunities

I know this is harsh but I thought we were a bit shit second half. Mostly in terms of execution, touch, passing when we had the ball. We looked so sloppy when we had it. I guess that’s what they do to you - make you rush when you have it because you don’t know when you get it back, but we were so wasteful in decent positions.

If Gordon starts up top it’s about the press/intensity. Nick will play his part but I reckon we will want to fly out at them.

I’ve head about these people actually now you mention it. I was speaking to a colleague who works in a school in Inverness and apparently there is a bunch of teachers in Scotland who set up like a travel company to buy tickets for games at EPL clubs. Didn’t realise the private schools were in on it, but I know some state schools have based a whole trip around it, Liverpool, Manchester etc

I think our areas to strengthen are: Midfield (genuine quality) Multi-role attacker (LW/CAM) CB LB (backup) RB (potential) GK (high ceiling) Players I would cash in on - Barnes or Gordon, Willock, Botman (depending on injuries), Osula

I think if we are being honest, we should be scouting his replacement, same with Hall. We need to be in the strongest position possible so that when the cunts come knocking, we either sell once again at an astronomical price or hold without panicking for a replacement. If we can continue to sell high but bring in quality, we will eventually challenge these cunts.

From what I can see, the technical quality of his finishing is seriously high. Remains to be seen how he adapts to the league in terms of other aspects, given he will have less time and space, but his finishing looks excellent, a number of first time finishes, some quick feet in tight spaces and some absolute belters in top bins

Tend to agree with this. He has magic boots and a cunt of a finish, but he can’t sustain the press, and quite often doesn’t get us up the pitch and out of the opponents press. He’s also not up to a season of Howe-ball physically. edit - and yet still the best CF we’ve had since Shearer

I think it’s more likely that they’ve taken an approach they feel they can’t back out of. The win for them is to get the move. They don’t get the move, they’re fucked.

JSL would be a good signing for us I have no doubt. He’s a clinical finisher and has room to improve. I’d buy him only mind, and keep Isak. I don’t think we can cave on that one, and I think we now need time to scout and prepare options for next year to replace when he fucks off. I also think that he will come back into the fold.

Wasn’t there a goal where he cut in from the left and hit a dipping shot in the bottom corner where afterwards in interview he talked about being drilled into that kind of shot? Maybe the training he receives in on very specific shooting scenarios and the inside foot shot is what he focuses on

Never at that price. If we need to close shop for half a season so be it. We absolutely cannot spunk the future of the football club on this guy.
