  1. When you’re a direct competitor. They’ll loan to a Forest, Luton etc in the hope their loan player can do damage to title/European place competitors, safe in the knowledge they can’t play v their parent club. Same premise doesn’t work when that player could be the difference between the competitor finishing 4th rather than 6th and nudging you out the CL places. In City’s position, now NUFC are unlikely to make top 6 and we’ve played them twice, I’d be loaning Phillips to NUFC to help hobble and take points off Arsenal, Spurs and Villa. Obviously Liverpool off the table to damage now we’ve played them twice.
  2. Neymar’s signing should be the one that puts the brakes on them spending stupid money. Like a car crash you could see happening. Injured straight away, being paid the annual GDP of Papua New Guinea a season and basically running a booze cruise back in Brazil whilst he recuperates. https://talksport.com/football/1692349/neymar-luxury-cruise-al-hilal-brazil/amp/
  3. Would love for the Saudis to step back until FFP is screwed so that the Sinister 6 have another avenue blocked to cover their mismanagement.
  4. Until Isak gets knackered and Wilson is unavailable.
  5. Investors with a limitless amount of money to put into their business aren’t being allowed to at a time when the company’s assets are breaking and they can’t replace them, compromising their ability to meet their targets. By a regulator that’s pressured and influenced by their biggest rivals. Only football is that detached from the real world.
  6. Presuming his nickname is Wandering. Similar to Chris Pincher “By name, by nature”.
  7. Or the current Brexit FC scouting network.

Fuck off man. Don’t even know what the solution for this is to be honest if we’re not signing anyone.
  9. Don’t see it now that Alvarez is settling in well to their set up.
  10. I’d just rework a load of Specials songs if I was a Cov fan. Wouldn’t work with our Makina paced singing.

Horrible human beings so consumed by their bitterness towards NUFC that empathy is non existent. If ever a thread sums up RTG it’s that one. A handful of sane people trying to counter the raving loony masses.
  12. No. Joined 31.1.21 and then played 21 games the remainder of the season - out of 21 games, so 100% availability. Since then he’s had a number of niggles - a hip injury that kept him out most of the first half of the 21/22 season, knocks and muscle injuries in 22/23 (mostly first quarter of the season) and now the back injury in 23/24. Unfortunate as it’s really meant a stop start time to his NUFC career proper.
  13. They hadn’t sold out the 2nd leg of the Liverpool semi final at home, weak as piss Tory supporters.
  14. Just checked, apparently not. Also need previous booking history. https://www.fulhamfc.com/tickets-and-hospitality/match-tickets/fulham-newcastle-fa-cup-tickets/
  15. Notes in comments that the refs have been going to UAE to do matches and being paid - is this true? Bit of a conflict of interest if so.
  16. I think they’re on a sticky wicket with that one - how can you prohibit investment, the will to advertise your own company? Competition law would have a field day with that one.
  17. More brutal than the PL stance or more leeway?

    Alexander Isak

Our biggest asset and we mustn’t sell at any cost. Replacing his 14 goals in half a season would be the biggest challenge we could face, particularly with Wilson seemingly broken when playing more than once a week and now resorting to flogging gluten tests.
  19. Anyone other than Turkey Teeth and Lego Headed Action Man Fraud plus those horrible entitled cunts at Barcelona. All three are deviants in different ways. Phillips loan at a reduced price and Citeh can have first refusal on him.
  20. Or the £50m midfielder Nunes who they bought to replace Phillips. Embarrassing flex against a team that has a smorgasbord of players from their last four managers and a youth team player to fill the bench slots.
  21. De Bruyne’s goal was a week in the making. Pritchard had that same space to run into twice at about the same stage of the game v the mackems. Difference is one’s world class and can pick a pinpoint spot in the corner whilst the other is midtable Championship fare and hits it close to Dubravka.
  22. Goal and another solid performance today. Hopefully a step closer to getting him permanently off the wage bill and clearing more FFP room.
