Newcastle United 5-1 Brentford (08/10/2022)

I'm glad Miggy got his goal, because I put him in my fantasy team. Wilson let me down, but Bruno had a blinder. Great day! -

This is fucking gash like. Worst day of my life so far. Not even 3-0 up yet and Rachel Riley still hasn't shown up to my house pre-oiled and wielding the Howay 5-0 DVD. Absolute shite, man. -

VAR likely cost us 7 points in a week. There is a long way to go before it evens out. -

Pretty glad I gave Murphy some (albeit the weakest possible) praise earlier on his thread. Feels like I can celebrate rather than criticise. -
I think the hardest part for them is that each club is completely representative of the City they are in. The SofL is a horrible, faded, flat pack shithole on a wasteland, filled will troggs on a matchday. SJP is an iconic ground, overlooking the City, with a team set to compete with the very best. It must be horrible for them, waking up on a spunk encrusted couch, shambling out onto the street in Pennywell, trying not to trip over the broken washing mashine in the fenceless, overgrown garden. After avoiding 13 year old single mothers pushing dogs around in prams, finally get to the Job Centre to sign on and hear someone say that Newcastle have won again and that they have electricity and everything. All that is left for them is walk to the library to get on the internet, sign onto Groomers and type some incoherent shite about sportswashing, before heading back home, beating their Mams and swapping some child porn for some turps, which they drink and pass out again on their sofa in the same 1998 SAFC shirt they've had on for over two months. No wonder they hate us so much.

Well done to him for showing some improvement. He's still miles below the standard we require, but if he keeps on improving, he might become a useful squad player, at least until we've had enough windows to add depth. As I've said before, seems like a top lad, so glad to see him progressing, and ultimately, it might see a move to a club at his level where he won't look quite so out of place on the pitch.
-
He's completely given up on the game. I wouldn't be surprised if he does a David Bentley and quits when it turns out no one is willing to offer him anywhere near what he earns now at the end of this season. Unrecoverable IMO, although I think he was massively overrated when he was 'good'.
-
He wanks horses off with his mouth when he knows people are looking.
-
He's been atrocious all season. All yous who said we should sign him - hang your heads in shame!
-
I know someone who works in horse racing and they said that there's a reason he's always alone in pictures of him at the racing. It's because he is universally despised and no-one wants to go anywhere near him.

Just remembered about his brochure too. What an absolute apococunt. https://www.planetfootball.com/nostalgia/remembering-the-brochure-that-got-michael-owen-a-move-to-man-utd/

Just read that interview. He basically admits what we all thought all along - he had zero interest in contributing to Newcastle and was only interested in England and l*verpool. Absolute snake. To take the wages whilst holding the club and fans in contempt from the start is disgraceful. I'm glad he got the single worst reception for a returning player I can remember. Thoroughly deserved. And he went on to play for Man Utd, shitting on his beloved sc*use cunt fans too. The worst of the worst. I hope his next shite is a hedgehog.

James Maddison (now playing for Tottenham Hotspur)

And a D/CM. Bizarrely, I think Shelvey's injury has hurt us. Never thought I'd say that... -
I can see him taking the Forest Job, because it's all he's likely to get offerered. He was a legend here and did a great job, but since he walked away, his performance and reputation has gone off a cliff edge. And clubs know it. Unfortunately, that Forest squad is toxic and thoroughly wank. If Benitez does take the job, it'd be a sad car crash and would likely finish him as a manager. Absolute trap of a job for him IMO.
-
I'm going to go bold and say that you either didn't watch them, or have been seduced by his waistcoat.
-
Anyone else expecting Southgate to stay on after the WC? He's absolutely dogshit, but that hasn't led the FA to sack him previously. He's had two hyper-spawny tournaments already, and even if England are embarrassed this time around, I could see him staying on. Partially because the FA love him, and partially because any decent manager wouldn't touch that job with a bargepole.

Clearly would never wish harm to anyone, but his injury really doesn't hinder us at all. Playing ANYONE else up front rather than this donkey is a good thing. Even *shudder* a false 9 if needs be. Maybe even Willock, as an attempt to get something out of him, and let someone else have a go at CM. -

Never underestimate the stupidity of PL Chairmen. If they weren't stupid, the PFM wouldn't be a thing. -
No vitriol from me, but he's shafted himself royally, going from our cup keeper to backup backup at a thoroughly faded club. A bizarre choice, and one that makes his next choice to either drop down a division, move abroad, or retire. There's no chance of a return here - the bridge was nuked on the way out. A sad end for a good player, but self inflicted. He's earned a lot of money though, so I'm sure he'll be fine.
-
I love Wilson and hope he's back soon, but I'd be amazed if he's back before Christmas.
-
Darlow injured. Emergency keeper loaned in. This dogshit deal now looks even worse, since we can't recall Dubravka until January.
-
Unfortunate wanking incident when learning that we were to sign Isak.
-
Genuinely depends on how long the corrupt refs can carry on for before they have to rein it in.
-
Sc*use cunts look shite when they haven't got their MVP (English ref) to carry them.

Really lukewarm on Maddison, but Murphy is a waste of a squad number and Almiron isn't good enough, so Maddison would be a welcome upgrade TBH. Even if we later sign a super winger, Maddison would still get plenty of game time and Almiron would become the backup backup with Murphy melted down for glue.
