I just hope we stick to the plan that we had, whatever that was. If anything is to be learned from the past, we should know that we shouldn't get too carried away by a purple patch. That being said, january is very difficult (especially with our PSR issues), so I don't have high hopes for this window anyways.

Leicester should've scored like 3 goals that game..

My thoughts is that when a team has punched way above their weight for the entire first half, there's a very good chance they won't slow down. So much momentum nd confidence. They can even afford a down period, just like the other current top 4 teams (in terms of getting into CL).
-
Can't wait to lose out on CL because Nottingham just decided to be the new Man City.

Judging by froggys quores here, it's safe to say that Amorim gets an early sacking and that Ugarte turns out to be a flop.
-
And then he goes on to complain about people having anything critical to say about him. Everyone else is the problem. Classic victim role.
-
It really seemed like it was aimed at me as I was the one who used the word "creds" like 2 posts before, but I haven't read all the pages from yesterday and today. Maybe it wasn't, my bad if so.
-
Allways puzzled by the expectation some have that if you criticize Howe it means you're anti Howe and if you ever give him creds it's all fake. The idea of someone just trying to be honest and somewhat balanced instead of polarizing and having clear agendas is apparently unheard of. It's interesting because if I'd instead somehow be critizicing Howe for something right now, you'd ridicule that aswell. I'm giving Howe credits now because he made things work. Things didn't work earlier in the season. I judge based on recent performances. It's not that deep.

Bruno has said multiple times that he prefers being an 8, but he can play as a 6 when the manager needs him to. Pretty sure he enjoys being able to create goals for us.
-
Isn't smiling in this picture, clearly doesn't want to be here!
-
Was having some doubts about big Joe in midfield, but he is also looking good in his current role atm.
-
We have a very exciting team atm with Hall and Tonali in the side, and Bruno being played further forward. Really glad it has worked out so far, and creds to Howe for making it work in the end. Can't wait to see more.
-
And to speculate even further, the tranfer may not had happened if it wasn't for the ban.
-
Fixed it, apologies.

Said it a long time ago that if he comes out as good as I thought he would, I'd give Howe creds for the signing. Because it was clear as a day that Howe was the one who wanted him, and you can certainly see why now. It took a while, mind.

Also important to remember that time "moves slower" for these players. They react very fast to everything. That one second for Duran would be like 3 or more second for the man on the street. For instance you can see it when Bruno smashes that pass in to Isak, and he just casually recieves it perfectly with his left, when people like us wouldn't even have time to move until the ball had passed us.

Notice how he runs normally, and slowing down by bending his knees to avoid Schärs feet, while looking at him. But all of a sudden he decides to straighten his left leg and plant it at Schär after looking at him for a second or so to see where he is (strange how he "accidentally" put his foot there while he'd been looking straight at him). The left one looked more deliberate imo, because the movement was out of the blue. With his right foot atleast you can make the argument that he was falling.
-
I'll post it again. I don't understand how the stamp with his left foot isn't deliberate. He looks at Schär way before the movement. He straightens his leg and aims it at Schär. Not something you often see at all.
-
Every week you see players getting stamped on twice after tackling someone, as they accidentally go full stretch towards them to stamp on their butt and then "compensates" but stamping into them with the other foot. Totally normal sequence of events, happens all the time.

Feels like bottom 2 are already settled. It's basically just about whoever gets 18th. Seems to be a real trend of whoever get promoted goes back down, atleast for the most part, with some exceptions.
-
Every Villa fan using the Howe out of context quote about it "seeming harsh" as a proof that it wasn't a red. Conveniently leaving out the part where he says "I only saw it live". I also didn't think there was any foul play going on until I saw the replay.

Poor @Froggy allways getting his hopes up..

They'll charge like £80m at the bare minimum.
