Half watched it and that was pathetic from what I could see. Really concerning because that’s one of the easiest away games so something needs to improve drastically otherwise we will be lucky if we get top half. Assuming Woltemade picked up a knock? If so, that’s very concerning especially with Wissa being out. Full backs are a huge concern, Burn absolutely shite and Krafth should not be playing at this level, but it will be some time before Tino and Hall are properly playing.

Agreed, just saying that both actions are a yellow card on paper and the refs should really give two yellows in that instance but yes it never happens. Kudus probably was lucky with the second challenge, but the bar is always higher for a second yellow (wrongly).
-
It wasn't a red card, however the whole thing was two yellows really. A yellow for the tackle and a yellow for the pushing with Kudus, but you would very rarely see a red given like that.

Would like to see: -----------------Ramsdale------------------- Trippier------Thiaw------Botman-------Burn -------Bruno------Tonali------Ramsey------- ------Murphy------Wolt-------Gordon--------- Obviously it will be Pope in goal and I wouldn't be against Schar or Miley playing over Botman and Ramsey. Hopefully not Joelinton, he just looks off it but is a good player to bring on to help see a game through. Hall back on the bench hopefully.

I’m Glasgow for this game and typically it kicks off at the same time as the Old Firm 😩

The most excited I think I’ve ever been about our squad and it’s mainly due to Woltemade coming in as the final piece of the jigsaw. Just feel that we will go from strength to strength now and he will be a big part of that with the way he links it all. Weird how we are 12th yet I’ve been so positive about us all season, can see it’s a matter of time before it really clicks

Pretty confident he will make the next Germany squad which is great for us (except for not getting a rest) because it will again show players from abroad how good Howe is at getting the best out of players and giving them more of a chance of playing for their country
-
Favourite moment of the game was when Xavi was looking to get in behind but just gave up when he saw Sandro powering past him 😂
-
My post wasn’t meant as a criticism. Feel he is playing safe and as I said doing it well but that there will be more to come from him in terms of stepping it up going forward. I am also impressed but just feel there will be a lot more to him which is exciting.

Towards the end of the game the commentator irritated me when he was banging on about how Tottenham were a long way from their best starting eleven. We only started three players that would probably make our best starting eleven, I would argue they played at least four from their best. Brilliant from Eddie to win these three home games whilst rotating and great to see our strength in depth

Brilliant draw. Likely to be Arsenal, Chelsea, City and us in the Semis though (all being well)
-
He will get better, seems to just be doing the bare minimum at the moment (albeit pretty well). Once he’s fitter and more aligned with his teammates I think we will see more going forward from him
-
Our best player by some distance for me and that’s no slight on our other stars. He is incredible
-
I would start him every game personally. Harsh on Pope but he improves everyone else with his passing
-
Can’t be many better summer signings than this guy, what a beast! Just needs to cut down on the wild yellow cards but with how much he presses I guess it’s a necessary consequence of that. He was amazing for the second goal
-
Yeah a big opportunity this. Can easily see any of Arsenal, Liverpool or Chelsea going out tonight. City should be fine but huge opportunity. Definitely have enough to get through as well

31 point lead at the top thanks to Diakite being benched! Never done this well before, 30,000th in the world.

It has to be Botman when everyone is fit. Burn should not be starting regularly for this club with the options we have if everyone is fit (great second choice though). Tino, Thiaw, Botman and Hall has so much potential for years to come

Nice to have some options for this game in midfield and attack. I would start the same front three as yesterday but Barnes coming in for Murphy would be justified by his two goals. Tonali has to come back in but that means we have three very good options for the other CM position in Ramsey, Miley and Joelinton. Would personally go for one of the first two and leave Joelinton on the bench for this one, get him back in for Tottenham. Maybe go Ramsey - Tonali - Bruno for this one and then Joelinton - Tonali - Miley for the Tottenham game so all are getting a rest at some point.

Much better than Willock and another option that will enable us to rotate the midfield three (fitness pending). Will only get better
