Klopp is a great manager, but people act like Liverpool never spent any money, they did, and I don't think there was much between them and the City teams that were neck and neck and years, Liverpool recruited insanely well as you said Salah, Van Dijk, Allison and TAA are / were arguably the best in the world in their position, and Premier league greats imo. Then prime Mane, Robertson, Firmino etc. Makes me rate Pep even more to be honest considering he dominated them in terms of trophies

ITK saying botman is starting!
-
Man City after Khusanov, shame
-
Would also like to know more about this. In this day and age, new tactics become the norm so wondering when it either gets sussed out or other teams copy
-
I mean it would depend on the length of his contract... But I think Trent is way more than a Β£50m player There's no defender like him in football, and whilst I don't think he is great defensively, but he's part of the reason Liverpool have been so competitive the last several years, alongside Salah, Van Dijk and Allison
-
Isn't it the mental aspects for the player though? Like their knee may be all good as per the physio, but playing against Spurs away will require him to push himself way harder than a u23 game etc
-
Where are all the ITK's at? Can't see anything from Casey, Burnsie, Pizza Rob, Will etc whereas it's normally flooded with names by now Have they no idea who to guess as we don't know our strategy now under Mitchell?
-
Forgot he existed until someone mentioned his name as Schar missed the tottenham game
-
Seeing lots of reports and highlights on that Khusanov, looks a right talent
-
Sad reality for me, waiting for the game he let's in 2/3 that a decent keeper would save
-
Looking forward to this game. They have a lot of threat through the middle of the pitch, whereas we tend to attack down the flanks, should be a good one
-
Didn't they have an 8 or so game streak where they didn't win and lost the majority? But yeah, they're a very good team and were very good in their last game
-
Didn't Brighton sign 3 fairly priced, young RW's with upside in the Summer? Maybe they can donate one to us
-
Just seen Man City are apparently interested in Ederson from Atlanta Maybe we should have done our best to get him last January π
-
I hope we get someone in the exact mould of Olise I'd also like a CM who either is good at playing between the lines as an attacking mid, or a more defensive midfielder, giving us more balance and options Though I feel we are stacked at midfield and can't see us adding their for a while, unless we sell someone or even 2 since we have - Bruno, Tonali, Joelinton, Willock, Longstaff and Miley
-
This talk of playing vs a high line and low block, just shows the insane advantage Chelsea have as a result of the bent FFP They have players suited for any system, Mudryk and Neto against a high line, Sancho, Madueke, Fernandez, Felix etc if they think they will dominate the ball Really hope the next 1/2 singing we make in midfield / attack give us another dimension we lack
-
No better example than this. Those 3 are greats in their position imo
-
Gonna be a our player of the season at this rate
-
Didn't Scalvini do his ACL?
-
I think 5 years is the max for FFP, unless we signed him before Chelsea wound up getting the loophole closed, I can't remember
-
How much roughly will be left on his contract at the end of this season? Is it just 63m - ((63m / 5)*3)? Which would be Β£25.2m remaining, so this is where we'd be considering profit above
-
Konate is an absolute beast at defending on the transition. Rapid and massive And he covers for TAA too. Great player, especially paired with Van Disney
-
Would rather Villa got a red π
