  1. Wanted Wissa for this so him, Elanga and Gordon could torture their high line Woltegoal will do. Think we can disrupt their back 4 if Joelinton and him swap at times so Nick can retain the ball and lay it off to our rapid wingers, and Joelinton is a good target man and good at running in behind against a high line (thinking of that goal against Spurs at home)

Getting worried like, reckon if the news was good we'd have heard ages ago Wolte and Wissa is an unreal couple of CF's for us to use as well, please let us have this 🙏🏻
  3. New contract ASAP for him like, don't want him anywhere near being at 2 years left

    Nick Woltemade

Noticed in the first half, he'd drop deep and either Joelinton or Barnes would be the 9, waiting to be played in Think Gordon, Elanga and also Ramsey could compliment this move a lot
  5. Chelsea pre agreement to sign Emegha from Strausburg next summer So that would be Pedro, Delap, Emegha, and likely Jackson 1/2 getting sold for sure

    Jacob Ramsey

I'm someone who wanted to loan Miley if we signed a 5th quality midfielder, giving us 6 with Willock I don't think anyone wanted us to go into this season with 4 CM's? 😂
  7. I'd agree Aston Villa had the best squad up until this new season But I think we have both the best 11 and squad after our recent spending spree
  8. Similar to what Liverpool have done with Quansah I guess
  9. Would have been a good idea to sell him with a buy back after 2/3 years, say sell for £30m and buy back of £60m Use the sale money to buy a 5th quality midfielder, so we have 5 quality options + Willock. Then in 3 years Bruno will be 30, Joelinton will be 32, if he's become the player we hope then we could buy him as part of a midfield revamp after 2/3 years and Miley will still be 22

    Yoane Wissa

He's gonna be starting this weekend + Barca next Thursday isn't he? C'mon the Wiss
  11. Liverpool are too good for Gordon For them to want Gordon over the next 1/2 years, he'd have to do exceptionally well for us If that's the move he wants, then over to you Tony G

Providing he starts, gonna watch the Germany game tonight, can't wait to see him

    Nick Woltemade

I'm hoping he finds the level of 23/24 season. 28 G/A in 48 games, and I'm sure he won 4/5 pens too Be a dream if that could become his standard

    Nick Woltemade

Good read. Interesting comparison to Robert Firmino
  15. It obviously hasn't, but it feels to me like our season starts next game. No Isak cloud over our heads, 2 first team strikers compared to 0, hopefully no shitty red cards etc I like how our new singings give us an air of unpredictability, in particular Woltemade and Ramsey. As unreal as we have been over the last few years, no doubt we wouldn't have been the hardest to prepare for

    Nick Woltemade

Crazy how small a sample size he has playing at a high level in top flight football, trying to get my fix but all the highlight videos are pretty much the same 😂 So is the consensus that this wasn't a panic buy, or someone far down our CF list....But rather he's someone we liked a lot who wasn't available until Bayern stepped away? Hope so, as our elite scouting gives me a lot of confidence Deffo seems like a ball to feet player, hope Elanga/Gordon up their end product as I could see Woltemade doing well with productive wingers
  17. @The College Dropout have you seen these 2 tweets? Seen you mention the Isak FFP impact in a other thread
  18. Mbeumo was supposedly our number 1 target, so we deffo wanted a left footed RW, but thought Elanga was the next available alternative
  19. Thought Isak would have a higher speed than that, he seems rapid when he gets going
  20. Just looked at transfermarket, he's only played around 2300 minutes in his senior career, which is about 26 full games.... He's 22 years old He needs proper minutes, he won't get that here being 6th or 7th choice
  21. As a player I'd much prefer to get Wissa, but with Larsen's age and him seemingly acting with more integrity, I'm not so sure Would like 1 of the strikers at least to thrive of running into space / through balls From YouTube scouting, Woltemade likes the ball into his feet
  22. If we Get Woltemade Get another CF like Wissa Then surely he goes on loan? There'd be 5 quality options ahead of him, 6 if you include Murphy He needs a proper season of football to find his level imo
  23. Yeah That front 3 would be insane, has a bit of everything, world class etc But you'd need 3 work horse midfielders behind it, not Wirtz
