We're already going to need 2 more CB's over the next 1/2 years with Schar and Burn being so old, so makes no sense to sell him, and can't see Liverpool offering an insane amount that we're happy to take, as good as Botman is, he's not the next VVD Every effort should be made to get a new contract sorted before next summer.

Next season I want us to get the best goalkeeper available to us, and don't mind spending big here, don't want us to develop a goalkeeper tbh, rather we did development in the outfield positions. Who's the next Mamardashvili / Joan Garcia etc? With us buying Ramsey and having Joelinton, I can't see us buying an attacking midfielder tbh. The LCM for us seems to be the one who has more licence to go forward Could see us more getting adequate cover for Bruno / Tonali, Anderson would be perfect. Or maybe Miley comes on loads A full back is a must too.

I think as well we expect different things from our LB and RB now having both Tino and Hall I think we want our LB on the ball more, and we also protect the LB with a midfielder, usually Joelinton. Whereas at RB, there's no / less midfield cover and Tino's pace / 1v1 ability is used to cover the RCB Our set up makes both look great at LB imo.

Suprised you aren't convinced by him. Big, strong, rapid, 1v1 beast, very good left foot, can play both sides, good going forwards. Young with more room to grow etc etc He's first choice right back and second choice left back, we have 4 quality CB's, so it's fair to say he's our most important defender / the last one we want to get injured

Interesting point, Howe clearly loves height in his team and is wanting Burn in the 11 Thiaw are RB could be a way to get Hall in the team without having 2 small FB's whilst Tino is out.

Anyone know how much Bruno is supposedly on? Thinking Sandro deserves at least as much. Whilst Bruno is the captain, and has been here longer, Sandro is younger so is probably more appealing to clubs who can pay more wages than us
