There will be a lot of this to Liverpool transfers this summer coming. Players that have not been in Slot main selections will be moved on, Elliot being the main one who will be an absolute pick up for whatever club gets him.
-
A new contract for Isak will be that. Still adamant it will be signed as the official new number 9, just need to confirm Wilson will be leaving before it.
-
They’re clearly gambling on him being the crown jewel to get them back up again at first time of asking.
-
Player gets home sick after 12 months and we get them back on loan
-
PIF playing the long game by spending like £100m+ on Neymar etc, in preparation for when we have a top star, they spend £150m+ and it’s justified market value.
-
Love Joe, but a midfield three of him, Cunha and Andre is so laughably average,
-
Ha, forgot about that BS rule change We get to benefit from it next season though to go back to back
-
TAA off on a free, massive downgrade incoming. VVD / Salah could be off and no news because they’re still playing games whilst title is ongoing. Allison potentially wanting out in summer for that insane Saudi money having won everything with Liverpool. A midfield three where I’m not convinced it’s some legit top stuff and need a new body, with an attack that’s inconsistent outside of Salah and needing to get rid of Nunez. They’ll likely be champions, but there’s a strong chance they could be in a poor shape next season. Edit: Also forgot Robertson over past 18 months is showing more a player who’s aging and legs are going too.

He wasn’t, difference being though, Hall now plays there and MLS doesn’t. Just like Rico Lewis, that inverted role is nothing like a LB defensively so it does not help a player become a full back.
-
MLS is very good, but he’s not a LB. All well and good the inverted roll if that’s what’s required, but as soon as we’re against a side that will attack the wings, he can’t be playing. He’s a CM long term IMO.

Ciaran Clark in action, in ballers FC.

Fact Walker is giving nod ahead says it all about Tuchel.

Terrible move by Juventus

Konstantelias looks tidy.

Said it before with Delap, we’re best positioned to sign him because the top clubs of Liverpool/Arsenal will likely want a more sure thing since they’re competing for the major trophies. Man City won’t buy him back. Spurs are tied up with Solanke/Richarlison, then it’s just Chelsea and Man Utd left. Can’t see Man Utd going for him, which leaves us against Chelsea. And anyone who joins Chelsea over us will be a bullet dodged.
-
Jones been the one that’s routinely taking off the defence and moving forward. It’s the collection of 4 ahead that have then been poor.
-
Hopefully Burn comes off. Must be a bit tired by now.
-
Nice. Rather our players play the first game, get cup final cobwebs off and rest up for league.
-
If that much, then sure, go elsewhere. But it’s worth testing the waters if they have no Europe. They’ve spent some serious net money last few seasons and likely need to move on one or two to continue improving their squad so can’t be picky if certain players haven’t got markets. If they were to make Tel permanent (be questionable if they did), something has to give in their wingers collection.
-
A- Don’t set up your tactics like you did in this final (and show you learned from last final) without being a top manager. Think being a coach that can play different ways in game is what stops him from the elite, but if we give him better players and more depth, there’s no reason he can’t show that.
-
Some of our targets will be UCL dependent too IMO. Opens up more opportunistic moves. Kulu / Kubo are two I fancy us to revisit. Think Kulu I’d actually enjoy not just because of his talent, but it would be the first proper dick swinging move from us as a club that says “We’re better than you, and will always be better from now on”. Spurs are one of the sides we have to permanently move ahead off, and that would signal intention.
-
Thing that’s in Frank favour, he improves players. Shown it at Derby and Chelsea with the younger players. Everton a bad move for him, because that’s a side that’s downwards and just scrapping.
-
Chris Rigg should be Longstaff replacement. Then Willock moved on if opportunity arises for someone who’s early 20s. So there’s a wave of CMs ready for succession planning to Bruno/Joe.

Sat down with a glass of white and watching the game again
