We were in a transitional period in August. We’ve had this squad since then and Howe fails to get anywhere near enough out of them. I assume you thought Isak’s poor form was due to his transitional period/no pre-season too?

I don’t think it’s a red but I do not understand how they didn’t give it after the Dortmund one they did give, which was not as bad as Bruno’s. Just so inconsistent. He seemed to let quite a bit go and that allowed the game to flow.

He wanted to keep both Wilson and Isak. He’s now struggling to get this new team functioning.

We’re never making a ‘refresh’ to the squad, particularly whilst Howe is here. Any suggestions of that are nonsense. Howe likes a settled squad, takes a while to build trust with players and to ensure they are clear on his instructions. He’s not bringing 6 first team players in during one window.
