Steve McClaren

“I never become a pessimist. I’m surrounded by good people, good staff. Behind the scenes there are good people who want the club to do well. They really want it to do well, and that’s from the top all the way down.

No one works within a football club who doesn’t want it to be better, so we want to keep getting better and we are trying behind the scenes.

[McClaren] told the Chronicle: “We have gone to places like Old Trafford and White Hart Lane and shown we can compete. That’s what we want to do.

“It’s what we have been doing over the last 11 games, apart from Leicester and Crystal Palace. We have been competing and you can’t fault the players for that.

“We have been unlucky in the last three games and we are hoping in 2016 that turns a bit.”

Man Utd wasn't in the last 11 games.

The last 11 games, apart from two of them.

That were right in the middle.

When we shipped eight goals.

It would be nice if we had more of a plan than hoping our luck changes, Mr Pardew.

This is probably another big reason why he cant get our players to perform, they have no respect for him, and who would? The bloke is a coward with no backbone.

What a horrible situation we're in man.

Another manager under no pressure to perform to an acceptable level helping to create a group of players under no pressure to perform.

We're so horrible it's hilarious.

The bloke is an absolute wanker.

He's probably a good guy. He's just another incompetent man working at a club full of incompetent people.

Everyone says he's OK etc. but he's presently overseeing our worst ever performance in the PL isn't he, while trotting out similar shit to Pardew after every woeful defeat. Pardew and Carver weren't given leeway so he shouldn't be.

He's complicit with a shower of cunts and therefore imo far from a good guy. He's a cunt by association.

Never really cared much for this 'he's a good guy' mentality, if he's a shit manager who cares? Give me a competent cunt any day of the week.

Correct. Problem is the ratio of competent cunts to incompetent cunts is badly weighted against us considering who is making the decisions [emoji38]

He is as proactive subs wise as the c***s before him. Always waiting for things to happen rather than trying to make things happen.

Would probably help if he had some subs worth bringing on to be fair.

Thauvin, De Jong?

We played surprisingly well today but he doesn't get much credit from me for being on the touchline when the spineless fuckers actually turn up just because we're playing a top side. Again.

I suppose it's an improvement from being arseholed almost every time (Pardew) but it's patently obvious that he can't get them to this level by himself.
