S.S.R.
Wikipedia got this now on Giles Barne Barnes signed for Havant & Waterlooville on 31st January 2008 for a fee of £25 million. This is a shock to the football world because Havant struggled to pay their tea lady Barbra, who is on £35 a week. Disgraceful. Wise out!
Karjala
so that Barry Robson signed for Celtic then.

Karjala
Roy Keane is trying to bring Stan Collymore back into football, and will pay each Premiership team £2m, for a total transfer fee of £38m. More good spending from Roy.
LoveItIfWeBeatU
Glenn Roeder has done very very well in this transfer window. I thought there was a limit (three?) on the number of players a club could loan?

Captain Underpants
why would keegan say that he wouldnt let anybody go out on loan because we have such a small squad, and then suddenly decide to do it anyway? Makes no sense.

oldtype
why would keegan say that he wouldnt let anybody go out on loan because we have such a small squad, and then suddenly decide to do it anyway? Makes no sense. Perhaps Wise and co. decided to let Roz go on loan over KK's head. Perhaps this is the beginning of a massive fallout between KK andt he new management types. Perhaps the ensuing bustup will result in KK having a nervous breakdown and leaving us at the end of the season. Perhaps by that point absolutely no one will want to come anywhere near us and we'll be forced to make Wise our manager. Then again, perhaps we'll get relegated by then and this will all be a moot point. :frantic: :frantic: :frantic: [/skyisfalling]
Guest VegasToon
Perhaps he is sh!t and now we can use Edgar.

thewellander
why would keegan say that he wouldnt let anybody go out on loan because we have such a small squad, and then suddenly decide to do it anyway? Makes no sense. It seems that Roz was unhappy here and probably asked to leave. Also, it's probable that Keegan didn't rate him very highly. It is strange that we would get rid of a player without a replacement, but he's a player we can do without, so long as Faye stays fit that is. Maybe this will mean an opportunity for Edgar to get some time on the pitch.
Flip
Not big of a deal if hes out i mean, we have Taylor, Cacapa and Beye and Edgar who can play central defence and we got Smith,Butt and Faye who can play defensive midfielder. Hes not a big loss and who knows maybe he shines overthere and we sell him for around 5-6 million.

Willow
Right, everyone just close this tab or browser window, go stick Solitaire on or go watch a DVD. Tonight is not suddenly going to get prettier as the minutes tick by towards midnight. If you stay here refreshing these threads you will end up pulling your hair out, hitting the monitor or even pissing yourself out of sheer desperation. Go.....go now....its for the best.... :-[
