If this club was ruined at any time it was long before Sam Allardyce was appointed.

"Newcastle are week by week losing the ability to play football" - Mick Lowes

He lost his ability to be a non-tool years and years ago. When he joined Radio Newcastle, actually.

So he's wrong then?

Awful - simply awful. I'll echo what Mick Lowes and John Anderson said just there - it's worrying because we seem to have lost the ability to play association football. This from a manager who is supposed to be 'tactically astute', not to mention players who are Internationals and on wages to rival that of a player at a top 4 club.

Worrying indeed.

After we looked like we'd turned the corner I was up for seeing what he'd do with some cash in Jan but now he's looking more like a liabilty!

I would say a lucky 2-1 win v brum, even luckier 1-0 win v fulham and a fortunate draw at home to Derby is hardly turning the corner

You know what I mean! In terms of effort and at least giving it a go.

You don't agree with him then?

To be fair, that phrase is a cliche of Mick Lowes that he wheels out during every bad spell.

Kevin Keegan and Alan Shearer together is what Big Mike wants, I think he may now step up his attempts at getting that done!!

WHAT?

Not this s**** again man.

I am not saying its what I want but I do think its what Mike wants, Jose for me is what we need but that won't happen :(

Any proof or this just a hunch?

Just a wild guess: Ashley has decided to try to appoint Jose at the end of this season, so he just ask Sam "not to relegate this season", and no matter what Sam will be sacked at the end of this season. Consequence is that players simply don't listen to him anymore---who dare to listen to a deadbody?

To be fair I only listen to Radio Newcastle as a last resort so I weren't to know that.

Yeah, and the guy quoted him as if to say "woah, even Mick Lowes thinks we're shit."

Never mind. Sorry. :D
