S.S.R.
Alan Hansen looks like he's dressed for a funeral.
Keefaz
Chiding? Thwarting? Have we got some sixth-formers in tonight?
catmag
Shearer's tie is fucking rank like. Funny. I was thinking it was canny nice. It's very 80's. His forehead is looking particularly large today too.
colinmk
I don't even know what chiding is.

Guest kingdawson
Gallas giving sly digs at opponents = CHECK Eboue commiting a reckless challenge = CHECK Adebayor diving all over the place = CHECK All we need now is for Wenger to say he never saw something and it will be a normal day at the office . Parsley
Shocking from Arsenal tbh, looked toothless and very susceptible at the back throughout. I think the match goes to show the kind of depth that Arsenal lack in their squad - too reliant on overrated youngsters who lack the experience and footballing brain to shine against the bigger teams compared to that of Man Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool. Wenger better hope he has the Premiership or the Champions' League in the bag or I can see these gambits in the cups coming back to send him out of a job. Wenger will keep his job no matter what happens this year. Still think they'll win the league like, they'll have their experience back in there to do it. Anon
It says a lot about the knee-jerk mentality of the average Newcastle supporter if they even consider Wenger being sacked. He's a grade A prick granted, but could play his mam at centre forward and still keep his job.

Mr. Snrub
What was with that senile old prick Motson wanking over Rooney.. Rooney wasn't even good, let alone great. A top striker would have bagged a hat trick easily.
Guest alex
Are you saying he isn't a top striker like? Drogba missed a few sitters in the ACN semi-final. I think he's still a canny player btw.
Mr. Snrub
He's undoubtably a good player, but the English media over rate him so much. Strikers like Eto'o and Drogba are in a different league to him.
Dave
Rooney's a top player, but he doesn't half get away with some shit by being English/young/a trier. i.e. the misses, the indiscipline, the petulance.
Dr Spectrum
His goal record is poor for a player with so much ability.
