r0cafella
Excellent Given you've taken a massive gamble on Paloschi im not sure you selling him is the next of ideas.
sbnufc
Rather we got Gomis on loan and bought Doumbia, not the other way around
Bimpy474
Hold up, we might get Gomis and Doumbia. What the feck is going on
nemtizz
Rather we played Rivs.
GeordieT
Don't even think he is as good as Cisse.
Groo
Actually Gomis is a decent player who perhaps needs a different type of service, playing with another striker would probably benefit him, he is a good finisher.

Ritchie
Seriously, who really gives a fuck about his celebration? He can celebrate however he likes as long as he scores.
toontownman
Much rather we bid 7m for Gayle and Swansea kept Gomis tbh.
Guest
11 league goals in 2015. I don't think he's that bad. Offside a helluva lot though but he's decent competition for Mitrovic imo.
Away Toon
Rather buy Gayle or Kenwyn fucking Jones
Bimpy474
Surely Gomis is similar to Mitro, a big striker. I'd have thought we need someone like Gayle or Doumbia, a speedster who can fiinish. Actually Berahino really.

Actually Berahino really. I am working on the foolish but only logical explanation that we are bringing Doumbia in as well. Gomis will compete with Mitro and replace permacrock Cisse. There was talk of loaning Riviere out to Forest a while back wasn't there. A run somewhere else in the UK would make a lot of sense.

Doumbia most definitely in as the rapid/finisher player.

Tsunami
If Swansea are prepared to sell him to a relegation rival we shouldn't touch him with a barge pole. Shelvey was different, Swansea clearly had to offload and he wanted to come here. You don't sell goal scorers to your rivals.

Better to loan him out to a championship side so he can actually get games and the proper chance to adapt to English football, bring Gomis in as cover. Doumbia would gives us something we have missed since Martins..but hopefully with a bit more intelligence. Worrying he hasn't played in a while though, don't know how long it would take him to get match fit.
The College Dropout
Gomis is more Cisse than Mitro. He wants to break the offside trap, shoulder of the defender etc. for a big lad he doesn't seem to want to play back to goal very much from what i've seen. Still. No.

I suppose he's in the same situation as Townsend for match fitness if he's been playing any friendlies or getting some football away from Roma's 1st team.
