ElDiablo
Harper, Beye, Faye, Cacapa, Enrique, Zog, Emre, Butt, Milner, Owen, Martins. Tough leaving Viduka out but we lack pace badly in the final 3rd
ShearMagic
Harper, Beye, Cacapa, Faye, Enrique, Milner, Barton, Geremi, N'Zogbia, Owen, Martins. Why Barton you ask? He played two delightful balls against Blackburn, which is just an ounce of what he can actually do.

Nice to know my thoughts werent way off That seems to be the general consensus mate, the problem being if the majority of us can pick that team, how come or recent string of managers don't! With 71 voters so far the majority team stands as: ----------------------------------HARPER-------------------------------------- BEYE-----------------FAYE---------------CACAPA------------------ENRIQUE MILNER--------------EMRE--------------N'ZOGBIA--------------------DUFF -----------------------OWEN-------------MARTINS------------------------------ That has the look of a more continental ball playing football team which would suit Keegans typical style of football. A bit light weight in midfield but probably from a technical perspective our best "footballing" team.

Instead, my team is soft at the back: Taylor and Cacapa, with Geremi and Faye in front of them
Thespence
Harper Kadar - Faye - Baye - Enrique Baheng - Nzogbia - Emre - Lua Lua Martins - Owen What would we lose tryin? We would be relegated.

S.S.R.
It shows the depth of quality in our squad when I simply had to pick Duff, even though I didn't particularly want to.

Dave
Three people picked Carr, presumably before Beye who is three votes down.
JoeyBartoon
What a depressing list! Anyway... Harper Beye Faye Cacapa Enrique Barton Milner Duff Zoggy Owen Martins

Zero
The result clearly shows we need a new CB. Faye should be playing defensive midfielder because Butt and Barton are just too s*** to play.
George Bailey
The result clearly shows we need a need CB. Faye should be playing defensive midfielder because Butt and Barton are just too s*** to play. Hope that Diatta impresses and is better than we have :-[ If so this could maybe free up Faye to move from CH and play in DM role? Also moving Beye to CH and Geremi at RB?? Taylors having mares, Barton and Butt are shite. Christ were thin on quality. Id maybe think of : Harper Beye/Geremi Faye/Diatta??/Edgar? Beye Enrique Faye Zoggy Milner Duff Owen Martins
Mr. Snrub
Harper 70 votes and Given 39. Laughable. Why? Given is clearly a far superior keeper. It's not even up for debate imo. A few dodgy games when not even fully fit isn't gonna make me jump on a "omggg he's past it" bandwagon.
thomas
Rather than make a new thread I'd ask this thread; what's the consensus on Duff? Should he start in place of milner, zog or not at all? I think he's looked like a better player the past few, but didn't vote for him. Would have him on the bench though.
George Bailey
Ive been critical of Duff since he came tbh. Think hes under performed mostly, however I would admit of late hes been showing better form. Id play him LW and move Zoggy centrally. I personally like to have our more talented players on the ball as much as possible and sadly due to Emre also being a huge disappointment, I would maybe think Zoggy could be our creative player we so desperatley need.It may tide us over till we can sign a midfield creator in the summer? STM
So early results would indicate we stand as follows: ---------------------------Harper---------------------------- Beye--------Faye---------------xxxxxx-------------Enrique Milner-------xxxxxxx-----------xxxxxxx------------N'Zogbia ---------------Owen-------------Martins------------------------- Would you be happy with signing two centre midfielders and a centre half? In all fairness I can see the core of a half decent team there. Completely agree with your side. I think we should also look to get a little more quality on the right in the summer, should we avoid the drop.
Conjo
------------------Given---------------------- Beye-----Faye-----Cacapa------Enrique Duff------Barton-------Emre------N'Zogbia ------------Owen------Martins------------- No doubt in my mind.
