Skirge
Dressing up as venom might send the wrong idea anyway, despite it being black and white. He might think we're all his enemies. its that kind of thinking that makes this forum great.

Skeletor
Imagine if the fullback marking him put on a venom mask every time he tackled Jonas.

SteveMc
Sounds like a great lad. More news on KK's captain and transfer targets later apparently. Can't wait
SteveMc
I'd say so and I doubt they have any real insight into KK's targets. Hence my lack of enthusiasm

stozo
Is anyone else getting slightly worried this deal might not be as done as thought? If he still doesn't have his registration it's likely that Mallorca and the Spanish FA are refusing to release it, which means it will probobly take a FIFA or UEFA hearing to get his registration but who knows when that would take place. I wouldn't be surprised to see Mallorca kick up a fuss and try to take it to court, but i've seen Gutierrez sat at Hartlepool in a Newcastle jacket and i've seen photos of him training with the rest of the squad, so i'm fairly settled about it. Bloody pessimists!

Dave
wasn´t it always the case that he was going to play his first game against PSV. http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10278~1337343,00.html United fans will be able to see Jonas in action in the pre-season friendlies against PSV Eindhoven (August 6) and Valencia (August 9) at St. James' Park. khay
He also started a week earlier that he needed to, thus getting him in contention for the games before then PSV and Valencia.
morgs
ok, this is just a random thought i had but how did the transfer exactly work. clearly jonas bought out his contract but was that after we made our interst known or did he do it then say to us 'can i play for you'. Nobody
He bought himself out of the contract in May or June IIRC. Impossible to know when we first showed our interest in him.
