I hate it when people name players in their starting 11 that we havnt signed ffs...

Cant you wait until Tuesday morning when we find out if we actually sign anyone?

No matter what the team, i think a comfortable 2-0 win, 3-0 if Martins is back.

any chance oba and vid will be back for this?

I think both will be fit again, if not on the bench.

And i was looking forward to the match, until i realised it was 2 weeks away... for international break!

That's if Martins and Viduka aren't ready to return. Barton in for Butt if he's fit enough too and Guthrie to the holding role.

We'll win. Probably some default score like 3-0.

Guest optimistic nit

Given

Beye Bassong Colo Enrique

N'Zogbia Guthrie Butt Jonas

Owen Martins

Viduka Xisco Taylor Harper Nacho Duff Edgar

thats what i would do, and then bring Nacho on at halftime (unless its a tight score and butt is playing well). although Keegan seems to think substitutions when a player isn't injured dont exist, so i'd rather keegan started with nacho than have butt play the 90, because hull is a good game to blood him in (although we shouldn't take a win for granted just because they got tonked by wigan).

for the same reason i would start bassong, it would be a very good chance to see how he handles poor PL opposition. if he passes the test then he will be in contention to start the next game, if he looks shaky hull shouldn't punish us as clinically as a mid table and above team would.

i'd like Xisco and Viduka (if fit) to be given run outs as well, but as mentioned keegan will probably finish with the same XI that starts, again.

Fancy us to batter them but often this doesn't happen, so i'll be happy enough with a comfortable win.

Hopefully, Martins, Viduka, Enrique and Geremi are fit enough for the bench. As well as new boy nacho.

If fit:

            Given

Beye  Taylor Colo  Enrique?

    Jonas  Butt  Guthrie

    Owen  Xsico  Martins?

Subs: Harper, Bassong, Geremi, Zoggy, Duff, Gonzales?, Carroll

No idea about Gonzales at all yet, but very hopefull with Xsico. Zoggy in for Martins if still injured OR Enrique. Bassong looks good so far (still early days though) and Geremi's a usefull player to come in if needs be too. I'm assuming Barton will be banned for quite a while at this stage barring a miracle.
