shocker in the last 10 mins. he's been doing well prior to that.

cacapa is a waste. he looks like a man having a nightmare that won't end.

bassong on for him or geremi at right back and move beye inside.

Cacapa has had a mare, and looks nervous as fuk on the ball

Jonas is not himself today, passing atrocious

Butt and Barton not in the game enough

You wouldn't believe watching that crap we were thinking we'd "turned the corner" - that was as bad as any depth we'd been plunging thus far.

Poor first half from us - we just don't look at the races at all. Not surprised to see Cacapa drop another rick - a player of his experience should have done far better. Need to step it up in the 2nd half - we can get a point here. Question is, do the players want it enough?

That was basically a carbon copy of the Villa first half, plus a stupid individual mistake which means we're 1-0 down in a game we should never be losing. We're not playing particularly great, but neither are they and it should be 0-0 as Dave says. When we've got the ball on the floor and have passed it around we've looked alright, but some key individuals aren't doing it for us. The left side has been shocking. Fulham have closed us down whenever we're on the ball, so if the likes of Jonas and Martins pick up in this half then we've still got a chance of winning the game. All it's gonna take is one of them to wriggle away (Fulham have got three men on one of ours whenever we break), and we could be through on goal.

Very frustrating but no need to panic just yet.

May as well take Butt off and play Owen behind the front two. It's not like we'll be losing anything from midfield.

Charlie on for Duff.

i'd go with this. shola has done some good things, the problem with launching it up to him is that his knock-ons are random and martins anticipation is poor - recipe for shitness. would also let us congest central midfield and stop fulham slicing through us.

Did someone seriously just suggest taking Jonas off? Fuckin hell

well if he's having a shocker then no player should be immune from being taken off

He's not really though.  He just owed Duff a favor from a few weeks back and Duff called it in so that he doesn't have to play in front of Enrique.

Goodness...that was terrible. Only Barton (well, Given too I guess) has been good. Jonas and Enrique have made a ridiculous number of mistakes, while the centreback pairing has been shaky as anything. Ameobi has looked strong every once in a while and Oba has looked dangerous a few times, but for the most part they're just strolling around getting pissed on like everybody else.

Going for the positive side of things again, Coloccini has looked really, really good. Shame he's paired with a dunderhead.

Is there a smaller CB in the Premiership than Cacapa? If there is, I'm yet to see him.

all this stuff about joey barton being a good footballer, still seen no evidence of this while being at nufc

can't tackle, doesn't get forward and passing is woeful at times
