Moose
It looks like it'll be De Zerbi. He'll get them over the line this season, but the guy is a fucking rocket, so next year they'll still be a clown show next season when he inevitably falls out with everyone. That club just can't stop stepping on rakes!
Miercoles
Five year deal no less! They'll be in Manchester United territory soon where they are paying 5 managers at once

Moose
West Ham are that fucking useless I don't think Spurs will need to pull too many rabbits out of the hat to survive. Hiring De Zerbi will end in tears for them next season though in one way or another, they probably won't go down, but they'll still be a banter club

Abacus
If Tudor hadn't been such a disaster, I imagine most of their fans would have wanted him to keep them up by hook or by crook then take Pochettino back after the world cup. The fact he was a disaster and that de Zerbi has now been appointed on a long term contract is a right laugh. Keep them up? Watch them implode a season or two later. Watch them get relegated? He's immediately off to a stinker and having to rebuild a team in the championship. A serious interim appointment to get through to summer safely wasn't a bad idea, but they brought in Tudor instead. From memory, I think Jose had a clause in his contract where he got a massive bonus if he won a cup. Levy wanted him out and decided it wasn't worth the risk of waiting until after the final. It’s hard to engage because on the one hand we’re run by incompetents but at the same time we’re quite obviously cursed. Tudor’s father’s death is just another insane chapter. As you know with Ashley, it’s rough knowing that you have absolutely no control over something that has such a hold on your emotions. It’s healthier to keep a distance, and I’m happy I went last Sunday. It reinforced that the problem’s not with us. He seems like a bit of a prick and the Mason Greenwood stuff is rough, but we’ve all made our feelings clear on that. The fact that he’s signed such a long contract is interesting given our precarious position, and actually might help him in the short term. If we go down I’m more confident now than I would have been with another interim. Supposedly he’s being given a lot of power, which makes some sense given Vinai Venkatesham looks more and more like an Arsenal plant and Lange is a great youth scout but nothing more. We’re completely replacing the structure behind thee scenes anyway and just picked precisely the wrong time to do so. The style of football makes sense at least. Do you know how many teams in Premier League history have had a manager who stayed in charge for 5 years or more (as of last October)? Can you name them? Liverpool x3 Arsenal x2 Man U Man C Everton Wimbledon West Ham Charlton Burnley Bolton Spurs Derby Without looking - let’s have everyone’s guesses on names! I’ll give you a clue. We’re on the list. You’re not. Only just mind (Keegan was 4yrs 11mths, with the first year in Division Two) but I don’t think you’re unmanageable. That would be a silly thing to say, wouldn’t it?
