Danh1
Not sure I have the energy to be reading the name “Chris Houghton” loads again
Sir Joel Inton
Hughton? Who hasn’t managed a serious role for 5 years? Only hope they have is convincing someone like De Zerbi to come in now and stay with them even if they go down. That seems very unlikely based on the fact they’re scrambling around looking at anyone unemployed. Edited March 29 by Sir Joel Inton
Stuy_O
Aye I’d be amazed if Hughton kept them up.
Pilko
Surely at this stage you go for a bold, passionate figurehead related to the club or someone with a consistent track record of grinding out points and being tough to beat. As much as Chris Hughts did a great job for us he's neither of those & has been out of it for years.
astraguy
I know a manager who'd keep them up "Eddie Howe" and with the money they can spend + the players they have out, They'd be competing within the top 4 within 2 years

Conjo
As far as candidates for emergency caretaker goes for Spurs, Hughton is a really good pick. Could be their Glen Roeder back to basics type of manager, and their team is more than good enough if they just get the basics right. They just need to be avoid our mistake, be ruthless and not hire him full time if they finish the season strong.
Hovagod
I love Hughton but come on. It would be a laughable appointment and their fans would rightly be livid.

gbandit
The fuck are they doing? Shows you how fucking useless so many people are in these COO / Sporting Director / Head of … roles in all manner of different organisations. The amount of money involved in football at this level, the amount of people involved and this is the sort of decision making. As a species we absolutely love letting chancer cunts rise to the top

Pilko
Hoddle I'm convinced it's Hughton now. That's been leaked to make him seem like less of yesterday's man in comparison, surely.
Ben
So had De Zerbi turned them down ?

Seems like a decent enough guy minus the daft views from approaching 30 years back. Plus, Diamond Lights is a tune.
midds
Holy shit. When I heard they'd binned Tudor I automatically assumed they'd already spent the week lining someone up. The fact there's speculation on 3 or 4 names at this point is ridiculous, you don't bullet him after a week without a name, I refuse to believe that, even Spurs aren't that fucking thick
Fak
Hoddle would definitely wear velcro slippers on the touchline with piss stained Spurs trackies.

Disco
Seems to me that they had a chance to bin off Tudor on a mutual following his Dad’s death and they’ve taken advantage of having an easier option than to formally peddle him. The apparent lack of anyone lined up is a mad one like.
Ketsbaia
These rumoured replacements are even more hilarious than Tudor. This all feels surreal
