I wouldn't celebrate too much if the go down, for starters Howe will be all over Solanke and Gallagher.

Could do a lot worse than either of them. They're a product of the environment, not bad players IMO.

I dunno like, I quite like enjoying things.

I'd happily take Solanke.

Hopefully they can't be the bastards who sack a guy after his father has died

RIP Mr Tudor.

When I looked at their run in, I thought this was the match that would confirm whether relegation was a real risk or not. Losing it means it is. They don't have the hardest run-in conceivable but the easiest game they have left is Wolves away and... you wouldn't bank on them winning it.

Sunderland and Brighton next, both might think they're in the running for Europe. Then Wolves, already gone but with some newfound spirit. Then Villa away, tough match. Then Leeds - possibly second best chance at some points. Then Chelsea and Everton both of whom will be chasing European spots.

West Ham have a similar run in, spurs play one extra away game. It's tough to call but if West ham beat wolves at home on 10 April and spurs lose to Sunderland...

West Ham are fucking useless and unfortunately I think that'll be Spurs' saving grace. I can see Spurs spawning a win or two in the run in, I think West Ham will huff and puff to a few draw and a win at best

I doubt many, if any, of the Spurs players have relegation clauses baked into their contracts. Shame :bob:

Reported a fair bit they all have a 50% salary cut on relegation as a standard clause.

Presumably boiler plate and hastily glossed over in discussions but to be honest you wouldn't been thinking anything close to relegation signing for them or other top end Premier League teams

I see people wanting a Sunderland win when they play FFS , really don't get the Spurs hate. Such couldn't care less club

As much as Sunderland are our rivals they didn't vote to lock down the league to secure their own position and didn't it try to prevent outtake over. Spurs actively went out of their way to hold us down. They can go and take some karma.

We should put forward a new proposal that newly relegated teams can't be promoted for a minimum of 3 seasons

One less cartel club blocking our path  though they’re the weakest one.

I couldn't care less about Sunderland personally, I've never liked being rivals at a level that we should always aspire to be far, far above. One of the big 6 going down would be really funny, though I'd feel bad for Leffe on here.

Aye, it's difficult. I don't mind Spurs really, but they are part of the cartel, which I hate. Then again Leffe seems top draw. Maybe if someone's got dirt on Leffe to make him unlikeable then this could be a lot more simple.

In 5 years its more likely we are competing with Spurs than Sunderland so we need Spurs to go down really. Last few years they have pipped us to a few signings, Maddison, Kudus, I think we would have gone in for Gallagher at some point too. Sadly the one we beat them too was Wissa.
