Nobody
his first touch can let him down at times as well (see yesterday jonas ball to him gets his touch all wrong) Christ sake man. Considering how much he was involved yesterday, he's bound to have a couple of poor touches. His first touch is fine.

Guest NewBoyPeetah
Lucky we have 4/5 penalty takers in the squad - has not always been the case. Am I right in thinking Shola hasn't missed a first team pen?
ChrisMcQuillan
How many goals has he scored in this calendar year? Most of last season's came after January. He was on three pre-January wasn't he? That would mean he's scored 26 goals in 2010 so far.

buzza
Let's be fair about this, he was given all the time and space he wanted, nobody went to him.. I could have scored that, but would've stuck it in the tp corner

Cronky
his first touch can let him down at times as well (see yesterday jonas ball to him gets his touch all wrong) Christ sake man. Considering how much he was involved yesterday, he's bound to have a couple of poor touches. His first touch is fine. I'd agree with Kelly on this. Particularly in the first half, he giving the ball away a lot. It was like the atmosphere had affected him and he wasn't relaxed. Normally, he's okay on the deck, but he kept misfiring. He still on a learning curve and too much praise won't help him. Having said that, there are situations where he's unstoppable and he's a great asset to have. wormy
Let's be fair about this, he was given all the time and space he wanted, nobody went to him.. I could have scored that, but would've stuck it in the tp corner It's Carroll, man. He only stuck it in the bottom corner to tease Reina into thinking he had a chance. If he wanted to he could've put it top corner with ease.

M4
6. And that's not including his contribution in goals like Nolan's first vs Villa (+ maybe others that I can't think of right now).
Cajun
6. And that's not including his contribution in goals like Nolan's first vs Villa (+ maybe others that I can't think of right now). Massive part in Barton's yesterday. So that's 10 goals and 6 assists in 17 games and he isn't the penalty taker. Not too shabby.

Decky
NEWCASTLE United striker Andy Carroll has been cleared over claims he attacked an ex-girlfriend. Allegations the Newcastle United star assaulted lingerie model Laurie Henderson following a night out have been dropped. The centre forward was arrested in October at a house in the exclusive Darras Hall estate, near Ponteland, on the outskirts of Newcastle, and held in police cells overnight and questioned. The incident was said to have happened after Carroll enjoyed a night out with friends in Newcastle following the team’s 2-2 draw with Wigan Athletic on October 17. The footballer appeared at Hexham Magistrates’ Court the following day charged with assaulting the 18-yearold. Magistrates imposed bail conditions which included the provision he live with club captain Kevin Nolan. Days after his court appearance, arsonists targeted Carroll’s £150,000 customised Range Rover while it was parked on the driveway of Nolan’s home in Darras Hall. Carroll had been listed to appear at Hexham Magistrates’ Court for trial on January 10. But the Crown Prosecution Service has now decided to drop the case against the 21- year-old. A CPS spokesman said: “Having reviewed all the evidence available, we have decided there is no longer a realistic prospect of conviction and we are no longer proceeding with the case against Andrew Carroll.” http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/news/local/tyneandwear/8734065.Carroll_cleared_on_assault_claims/
