Dokko
If we don't get a striker in we need to bench/ rotate Ba & Cisse. That would be the best outcome for us right now.

Ishmael
Ben Smith @BenSmithBBC Liverpool striker Andy Carroll is in London to finalise a season-long loan move to West Ham. No commitment to buy. 7:01 PM - 30 Aug 12 So basically completely pointless on Liverpool's behalf? Hefty loan fee and/or substantial wage contribution, probably. Plus he's in the shop window and not sat on the Liverpool bench.
Guest Chubby Jason
I love nothing more than missing out on transfer targets to shit newly-promoted sides. As long as our model stays intact nothing else matters, not even finishing way down the league with a pathetically thin squad despite having on countless opportunities to strengthen it. Kimbo
I don't even particularly want him and I still find this depressing. I hate watching all these clubs trying to improve their teams.
taxfree
Ben Smith @BenSmithBBC #WHUFC will cover Carroll's wages - all of them. And #LFC will get a £1m loan fee.
Village Idiot
Allardyce probably at how high he can aim the balls now. Great move for both Carroll and West Ham though, Carroll will flourish in any team that plays to his strengths.

If there's no commitment to buy I'd say that was a pretty good deal for them. Expensive wages of course, but fuck all fee.
LFEE
blessing in disguise? nope Yes... How is it? We won't be signing anyone else. Do you hold Shola Ameobi in higher regard than Carroll? We don't know that for sure though I admit it's not looking great... Carroll would be a waste of our resources in my opinion and would be nothing but trouble off the pitch which thankfully we seemed to see the back off last season and reaped the rewards... Guest Roy the Irish Magpie
Disgraceful transfer window from us. Disagree. If we lost any key players, which we haven't so far, and we didn't replace them then it would be a disgrace. So far it has been a okay window for us because of the fact we have all our top players from last season still at the club.
