ponsaelius
Keeping Pardew and spending our whole budget on Carroll is the kind of thing that has me waking up in cold sweats.

LesPaul
Good. I don't want him back and he'd only prolong Pardew's inevitable demise, and I want him gone yesterday.
Jack Flash
West Am appear to be in talks with Liverpool/Carroll now while we've said we aren't doing anything until July so we might miss the boat. http://coachingcommons.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/Fingers.Crossed-300-x-300.jpg

Ishmael
Empire of the Kop @empireofthekop #LFC bought Torres for £20m, sold him for £50m. Used the money to buy Carroll for £35m & now Carroll to be sold for £15m. £10m net profit. There we go
afar
So much for fat Sam's whining about financial fair play. Doubt Liverpool would accept the same offer from us so moot point anyway. Didn't we have a sell on clause 25% or something, might be more money heading our way for us to waste on talented young players that don't fit our manager's footballing philosophy. No sell-on, just £35m straight. Not fussed if £15m is his price, we should be able to get better for less.

Guest firetotheworks
Clutching at straws, but hopefully with Pardew's option no longer an option it'll give him that extra nudge out of the door.
Cajun
Le Fondre did remarkably well last season tbf 12 goals in 34 league games, same tally as Rooney and Aguero. Talking myself around to this Le Fondre kid...

nufc4eva
Can we have a list of alternative really tall strikers that balls can be hammered to. Must be a few in lower leagues, or what about Diabeties from Bordeaux, he would really take the biscuit

Mattoon
It all depends if Carroll accepts I suppose, if we've spoken to him he may reject it, awaiting our bid, could be a twist in this. Not that I want him to preserve the cretins job any longer.

Not that I want him to preserve the cretins job any longer. Why on earth would Liverpool accept an offer from us? We won't be paying £15m for anyone.
