Gerrard arrested

Aye, Gerrard went into the bar and said "christ, this place is a dive."

At that point, the Evertonian barman proceeded to knock seven bells out of him.

Gerrard still got a penalty from the dive. It was a banning order, curfew and a £4000 fine.

Should have been jailed for that tackle on Solano a few seasons ago.

Couldn't believe Newcastle supporters clapped the tw@t yesterday, he might be a decent player but clapping him ??

Can only assume it was the bank holiday day trippers who were making their annual appearance.

One can only hope the print and tv media take the same fair approach to him as they did in the Barton case. And the Dyer-Bowyer case.

Talking about the Dyer-Bowyer case, I see they have jumped all over the Fuller-Griffin incident that happened yesterday with the same glee that they did when our two had fisticuffs.

The difference between Gerrard and Barton is that Gerrard gets into fights with grown ups, and doesn't continue to hit people after they're prone on the ground, like a coward.

You were there were you?

What Barton did was wrong BUT the other kid did provoke the incident and did keep getting up and asking for more.

Seems like your already adopting the attitude that Gerrard's violence was almost acceptable because he's cheeky scouser Stevie G and not the evil Joey B.

That was he had said about us!

"It's always very flattering to get applause like that, and particularly when you come to a place like Newcastle, where the fans know what football's about," said Gerrard.
