Nah, Im of the opinion that its better the Devil you know. Fuck knows who would be in charge after Kinnear went. Well Glenn Roeder is available.... Thespence
Mike Ashley won't risk Newcastle fans' wrath on return Mike Ashley, the Newcastle United owner, will on Wednesday night watch his team in action for the first time since fans angrily turned on him following Kevin Keegan's resignation. The sports retail tycoon will watch Newcastle take on Manchester City at Eastlands, but it seems he will enjoy the comfort of the directors' box or an executive box rather than don his replica shirt and sit among restive travelling fans. It will be the first time Ashley has witnessed a Newcastle game live since he was spotted watching on during a 3-0 defeat at Arsenal last August. The club were rocked days later when manager Keegan quit Newcastle and a fans' backlash against the 'Cockney Mafia' prompted him to put the club up for sale amid fears for his family's safety. Ashley could also be present when his director of football, Dennis Wise, holds talks with City's executive chairman Garry Cook in an attempt to finalise goalkeeper Shay Given's £10 million move from Newcastle. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/leagues/premierleague/newcastle/4363086/Mike-Ashley-wont-risk-Newcastle-fans-wrath-on-return.html

The Prophet
I think it's one of those games where any result is realistic. Both sides are pretty damn inconsistent and that makes it difficult to predict a result. The problem is with the confidence of the team being as fragile as it is at this moment if we go behind we'll struggle. If we go behind early we could get battered. We just need a lucky break, something to install a bit of confidence for future fixtures.

Joey Barton could be set for his first start since November after returning as a substitute during this month's 3-0 defeat at Blackburn Rovers. Yeah because they're fucking fantastic aren't they? If we show the same passion as we did against them in the home game then we are capable but they have an incredible amount of talent. I hope Robinho is locked up for this one. Man Utd have an incredible amount of talent, Man City have a few very good players, nothing more. The biggest problem is how shit we've been away from home rather then how good they are. So yeah a draw would certainly be a good result.
