johnnypd Posted January 28, 2009 Share Posted January 28, 2009 personally and even though it doesnt really make sense i think we're going to win. man city are so unpredictable, hughes doesnt seem to have a handle on his squad, robinho's in bother, new signings havent bedded in, morale is low. if we had a proper manager at the helm and less injuries i'd be very confident about this one. but since we have jfk and a depleted squad i'm more in the 'sneaking suspicion that we'll get something' camp. Also hope Barton keeps a lid on his temper. Total hiding. Hopefully is ring some of Ashley's bells, but it won't Ashley could be willing to plow £20/30/40m into the club, it's a case of finding players that want to come here. Some random right-back, guaranteed first-team football here, currently in the doldrums at an average French club... isn't that keen about coming here. It speaks volumes.
