He has an almost baffling ability with long-range free kicks that I can only suppose is the product of many hours of dedicated practice. He's not particularly skilful in other aspects of the game. And his shift against Man City was a fucking gem. Definitely glad to have him back. Is he a starter for us in a perfect world, maybe not, but is he a fucking useful player on our quite-less-than-perfect team? You better fucking believe it. And it never hurts to have a dead-ball specialist on the pitch. I wouldn't say either were instrumental and Ryan Taylor has Jonas to thank for protecting him while he played on the left, we virtually had two left-backs.
