Guest SellSholaFor1M
Unfortunately I dont think there is anything we can do. As long as we continue to to do what he claims to do, "subsidise" the club, he can hold out for his asking price, which is a shame.
BottledDog
has to be what you said don't buy anything related with the club or ashley ...and don't complain when we then can't afford to bring in players on decent salaries in the future. /the odd pint, but haven't bought a pie or anything else in the ground for an age tbf //but that's just me being a tight bastard :-[

I wasn't aware the boycott started from day one of Ashley arriving... Isnt the catering sub-contracted out? And I seriously doubt a few thousand toon fans at best boycotting a National and International sports franchise will make the slightest bit of difference to him like. maze
Tough question, as supporting a football club is associated with so many emotions. For a start I'd say just go to the game (for those who can) and support the players on the pitch as this is not their fault. And I'm not talking getting rid of the 'deadwood' players. They have nothing with the day-to-day running of the club. As much as you'd like to blame bad players, this problem is simply down to the administration and owner (top management). Ronaldo
we could throw things at Ashley (designate those with the best throwing arm) sing anti-Ashley songs, completely avoid the official shop, makes flyers and turn them into paper aeroplanes during the game. List is pretty endless

Colos Short and Curlies
He might see a tiny bit of a drop in sales in the Newcastle stores. I know someone who works in his shop in Toon and he said since KK left its been less busy, but I think the recession has had more to do with that, although I'm in no doubt that fans have stopped buying from his shop. I imagine it will pick up again should JJB go under

cubaricho
If you thought the transfer window was bad when we had funds, just wait until everyone has taken all of the money out of Ashley's/The Club's pockets and Ashley still can't sell the club (like he tried to do already)! All protesting did was made us look worse in the light of the media, which was the last thing we needed to do. We needed to discuss the future of the club because as a man once said. “Discussion is an exchange of knowledge; argument is an exchange of ignorance” Robert Quillen quotes
maze
The best suggestion from the podcast was actually to make contact with Ashley and Llambas, and try to help them (get out).

I know I have done over the past few years. Obviously I'm talking about arguments between close friends / family etc. rather than someone I think is a tosser though. James
Do what Manchester United fans did to JP McManus, bring the protests to where they will be noticed by Ashley away from the club, i.e. outside his home, outside his favourite casino, outside his business headquarters. Disco
While maybe hassling Ashley at graft isn't the best idea. The group should look to work with other supporters groups especially those who have are/been in similar positions and see what they are doing/did in this situation.
