Just saw Steve McMahon talking to Peter Beardsley in Greggs about the managers job. Said they offered it to Shearer but he turned it down as he couldn't work with a Bin Dipper. He still wants the manager to be Geordie so he's offered it to Lee Clark with Steve Watson as assistant and Graeme Souness is head of player development.
