Just arrived home from work, the fat bastard was holding up traffic in a 3 car convoy pulling into St.James car park. He fails to strike me as bloke that goes to work at 05:30am.

There may well be a couple pics later as a journo was standing at the car park wardens box taking a few pictures. (Not shitting you guys and more than likely routine but the 1st time I've seen them and I pass each day granted not usually as early).

So you're saying that Ashley was arriving at St James's at 5.30am? Clearly straight from the casino, having pissed away our poor excuse for a January transfer kitty...

There were four helicopters in formation overhead when I was on my way into work this morning.

I thought the CIA were tracking me, but it must have just been our new owners.

I think the reason we see rich arabs being interested in other clubs and not ours is down to one thing only ASHLEY.

I mean the blokes some how bluffed his way into being as wealthy as he is, and the way he runs the club and handles himself would you really want to do business with this guy as attractive as Newcastle is as a club to buy, theres one major stumbling block the fat lad

Or...as i said from the start its because were a championship club with zero profile in the middle east.  Im not an itk i just live and work in Dubai and i know the arabs world pretty well, no-one with any serious intentions is buying us from UAE unless were in the premier league, beware of anyone who does make a bid as it will be a disaster, and yes i posted this well before dodgy arabs bid for Portsmouth im not on a redheugh/thommo.sillius soddus WU.

Sheard remains in buyout talks with Newcastle

READ MORE NEWS ON: Newcastle United

American Geoff Sheard remains in takeover negotiations with Newcastle United.

The Daily Mail says Sheard, whose American charity fund-financed bid for Newcastle has been ridiculed by the opposition, is still in talks with owner Mike Ashley's lawyers through Manchester legal firm Halliwells.

Sheard, who led a consortium that failed to buy Sheffield Wednesday, is adamant that Halliwells now have proof the New York-based investment group have the necessary money to buy the club.

1. The US foundation has lodged its funds with UK lawyers. The lawyers name has been widely reported.

2. They have asked for a 7-day completion as of last Friday, I believe

3. There is an agreed Sales and Purchase agreement

4. Ernst and Young are being appointed as accountants/auditors

5. There has definitely been dialogue between Sheard and Moat, and I think a meeting has taken place or been arranged

6. There will be money immediately available for loan player(s)

7. Money will be available for January window

8. Derek Llambias is on holiday, or some form of leave

9. Think we will have a chairperson very soon

10. Sits back and waits for ridicule

is all above is true i will applaud you...

why is it called a foundation and not a consortium or whatever? a foundation is some form of cahrity.. no?

if there is an agrees sales and purchase agreement, that means legally binding... (if signed) does it not?

why do they need auditors? sureley all of that would have been under the due dilligence?

yeah and thickskin shinawatchstrap was a paragon of virtue.

the stumbling block is that there just aren't that many rich arabs wanting to buy football clubs.
