WarrenBartonCentrePartin
I thought Parker's passing was abysmal today. So was Milner's crossing; annoyingly i've been saying that for years. Not a winger The consensus of Parker today is either brilliant or complete s**** Nar. His break up play was good, but his passing was crap. Mixture of both. Guest Phil K
Playing smart and recognising we'd get raped if we didn't sit back. Well done Roy. Well said. My view too Thought a draw was about right.
Sifu
What a terrible game that was. Whilst France were the better team, they, like England, didn't have much urgency (especially in the last 20 minutes or so). You could put that down to England's negative tactics (10 men behind the ball and all that) but I just never got the feeling that France were going to go for it - aye, they had chances but most of them were shots from outside the box. Hodgson will definitely be the more satisfied out of the two managers, he set up the team to be defensively solid and that did sort of happen - it really restricted France so I guess, all in all, it's a decent start from us. The result is the right one and one which I suspect most of the England fans will be content with, I know I am.
Super Duper Branko Strupar
Milner has never ever been a winger.

Tbf, though, almost anyone could just jump into block tackles all game. And he always seems to exhaust himself after 65 mins.
Incognito
That pass from Parker to Welbeck? may have been Ox on the right corner of their box when he was about 5 yards away from whoever it was....the pace he hit it you'd have thought he was 55 yards away. I thought Parker defended ok but didn't use the ball as well as those around him, especially Gerrard.
Mowen
Thought Johnson was our best player, very impressed. Ribery looked to change sides at one point, huge compliment.
Hanshithispantz
It's a fucking massive shame Adam Johnson wasn't on the plane, he would have improved us 10 fold tonight.
Cronky
Welbeck did very well, despite few opportunities to make an impression. Young struggled, and didn't always use his brain, which is an old tendency. Welbeck and Rooney together will be a very good combination for us. A rather spineless performance from the ref, I thought. Fugazi
Not quite as dramatic as thate like Was a bunch of student kernts sat next to us, being annoying as fuck, proper Soccer AM fans, with their "Easy, Easy" shit EVERY time France lost the ball. Sounded like they'd never watched a match in their lives.

Also derby day last season town was full of pissed up slappers that didn't give a shit about the football.
Tooj
Aye, their level of craic was that they thought that taking the piss out of us because no Geordies were in the England team would enrage us. Total Bantasauras Rex's the lot of them.

ElDiablo
Was nice being back in my local at home even if England games bring the scum out the woodwork. Done my head in since September having the student bar as my nearest pub (by far). Full of spoilt brats with absolutely no craic.
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Joleon Lescott @JoleonLescott Just on the plane en route back to Poland. Very solid and professional performance from everyone, also great support. will flying between Krakow & Ukraine eventually take its toll? Can see it getting irritating given that they'll be back on Thursday.
