Miercoles
He was fantastic today, until Abeid hung him out to dry. I don't put that one on Krul at all.
Guest
He was fantastic today, until Abeid hung him out to dry. I don't put that one on Krul at all. Really? It was shocking by Abeid I'll admit but Krul has to just put his foot through it instead of slicing it 6 yards.
Rompe
I just don't get how you can be a professional footballer and be that bad at kicking a ball, keeper or not, it's embarassing.
Ronaldo
Krul just doesn't deal with enough in his 6-yard box for me. Frightened to give bollockings where needed, too. I'll look forward to his next endorsement of John Carver in the Chronicle.
Cronky
He was fantastic today, until Abeid hung him out to dry. I don't put that one on Krul at all. I agree. The way the ball came at him, it was right under his feet and he had to get rid of it somehow, right away.

It was shocking by Abeid I'll admit but Krul has to just put his foot through it instead of slicing it 6 yards. Look I know Abeid is the forum's golden boy at the moment, though why I'll never understand, but you can't expect much from a keeper when the ball is fired into his feet, completely by surprise, with strikers bearing down like that. Would it have been nice if Krul pulled off a better clearance to absolve Mehdi of his atrocious mistake? Fuck yeah. But it's certainly not a given, and Krul's mistake was bred out of Mehdi's colossal fuckup. Not to mention that he made 3 or 4 top notch saves to keep us in the game through 87 minutes of pure shit ahead of him. This one is on Abeid, no doubt about it. Put it out for a fucking corner instead of testing Krul's first touch and kicking ability by fucking surprise.
Wullie
Krul should be able to use his right foot in that situation. Complete hash of it from both players.
Dave
Even Gouffran could have poked it out for a corner. Typical lack of assertion from all parties.

Would it have been nice if Krul pulled off a better clearance to absolve Mehdi of his atrocious mistake? f*** yeah. But it's certainly not a given, and Krul's mistake was bred out of Mehdi's colossal f***up. Not to mention that he made 3 or 4 top notch saves to keep us in the game through 87 minutes of pure s*** ahead of him. This one is on Abeid, no doubt about it. Put it out for a f***ing corner instead of testing Krul's first touch and kicking ability by f***ing surprise. I'm not absolving Abeid of the blame at all, it was a completely moronic thing to do but what I gathered from your first statement was that none of the blame can go on Krul which I disagree with, he should still just be able to put his foot through the ball and get it clear. It's just such a frustrating goal to concede when there were 3 or 4 mistakes from us within the space of 5 seconds.
Miercoles
I'll give krul like 10 or 15% of the blame, but that's as high as I'll go. Look at it this way, if someone throws a brick at you, and it knocks your face off, is it your fault for not dodging the brick? Kiiiind of, but not really. Hanshithispantz
Abeid was off balance and played a suicide ball back, that part was undoubtedly his fault and hopefully next time he'll just get rid of it instead of trying to find a man. Krul though, being a Premiership footballer, should be able to put any foot through a ball in those situations. Defenders do it week in week out across the league. I'm actually blaming Andy Woodman, the fat greasy mess.
Guest n4e
When Mike conceded one of those on FIFA we all pointed the finger at him, seems only fair Krul has to be held somewhat accountable as well.
Deuce
OptaJohan @OptaJohan 3 - Only Tim Howard (4) made more errors leading to goals than Tim Krul (3) this Premier League season. Agony.

ujpest doza
What about that England side, not one player made it as a premier league footballer other than Jack Cork Fabrice Muamba did.
The College Dropout
Krul made an error but it was more in the "forced" error bracket. the ball had surprise factor, speed and he panicked.
Ronaldo
I agree with that, but his kicking is epidemically poor and for some reason it never improves.
sixx
A professional footballer should be able to kick a ball with either foot ffs. Krul's kicking overall is just shambles but all things considered he had a good game yesterday. That said Abeid didn't do him any favors.

Pilko
I agree with that, but his kicking is epidemically poor and for some reason it never improves. The reason might have something to do with our goalkeeping coach being a fatter, balder Terry Mac.
