themanupstairs
Absolutely colossal today! Saved our bacon once again. Top top class keeper, and on current form is the best keeper in the league bar none.

Dave
Did a Shay Given tbh.
The College Dropout
Always thought Given was over-rated. Rarely came for crosses and would let it bounce in this 6 yard box.

Newcastle Fan
There was a chance for them in front of the John Hall stand, everyone at the gallowgate thought that must be them scoring, yet somehow all i saw was Krul on the floor with the ball in his hand, looking forward to see what happened in the highlights. La Parka
So glad he made it. His Palermo debut was just the start of a newcastle legend in the making. (Will probably piss off to man city for peanuts now)

Guest Phil K
Always thought Given was over-rated. Rarely came for crosses and would let it bounce in this 6 yard box. Always thought this myself. Pleased someone else thinks this way too. Was never the fan of him many (most ?) are

geordiemonster
This kid's an unbelievable keeper. Made some great saves today. That save he made right at the end was incredible - not sure how he managed to get to it AND smother the ball to prevent the rebound going in. I reckon he kept us in the game in the first half as well

Si
Still only 23 Incredible when you consider how long keepers can play for, plus he's only going to get better. Scary.

ponsaelius
It's amazing how things have started to fall into place for us in the last year. For example we get one of the best strikers in the league for fuck all and this lad has just decided to turn into one of the best keepers around. Would be criminal to waste this opportunity to build on what we have.
Mick
It's amazing how things have started to fall into place for us in the last year. Would be criminal to waste this opportunity to build on what we have. Krul was always going to come good at some time, he just needs to sort his kicking out but to be fair to him, others have to try harder to get on the end of his kicks. Did you see his debut? the lad was always brilliant, just needed a run of games and a few mistakes to learn from in order to become even better.
