toontownman
Used to have a soft spot for Forest before this season. The epitomy of a one-man club. Brian Clough is Nottingham Forest. This! Wanted Forest to come up with us up until this year. Delighted for Blackpool, even more delighted if the go up, should give take up one of the three relegation spots automatically. Cajun
Very hard to take for the Forest supporters if you ask me. They were 2nd for much of the season and won't get promoted now. Unfair but that's football. Nope, two best teams go up and the next 4 battle it out for the playoffs. Perfectly fair. Forest
Dave
If Blackpool go up surely they're nailed on to finish 20th next season. Aye. They'll be spectactularly bummed which is great for us.
Wullie
Forest went on a spectacular run for quite a while but over 46 games, they were nowhere near us or Albion.

Apart from the fact they'll no doubt beat us at their place and snatch a 0-0 up here.

johnnypd
Just out of interest, if Blackpool do come up, who on earth is going to join them? Who could they afford? Forest being out is the best thing for us, only ones I could see putting up a fight. Cardiff are broke and Leicester have nowhere near the quality required. i'd feel pretty confident of finishing above one of those 3.
Liam Liam Liam O
Just out of interest, if Blackpool do come up, who on earth is going to join them? Who could they afford? They'll have £60m to spend from Sky man. Haven't you read the "Club statement" thread?

See Hull City. Struggled and just avoided relegation the season before they finished 6th and were promoted.
Cronky
I thought they were being a bit harsh on Forest on the TV. That second Blackpool equaliser was a fluke and turned out to be the turning point. Things can turn on bits of luck and it went against Forest tonight. Still, I've thought that Blackpool could be the dark horses for a while now. They're a very relaxed side and they have a fair bit of skill.
Neil
Impressive to see everyone completely write them off already even if they do win the final. I wouldn't expect them to stay up but strange things happen.
