madras
Would be very harsh to drop him for the Wolves game with Tiote and Cabaye back. Harsh but likely. i'd like to play all 3 but that would be harsh on jonas.
Willow
The thing I like about Guthrie is the fact he always wanting the ball, he's always available to take the ball and move it forward. He spreads the ball around and is always an option for another player and as a teammate, that's what you want to see. Takes the pressure off you and lets you pass and move too. Thumbs up today
Guest bimpy474
Would be very harsh to drop him for the Wolves game with Tiote and Cabaye back. Harsh but likely. I have a feeling Pardew is going to play all 3, with Ba and Jonas either side of Cisse.
Interpolic
BBC: 'Some times you just have to find the right club' after they'd made him sound like some kind of journey man. He's been here nearly four years . FFS. He was at Liverpool before us and had a couple of loans. I'm really glad he's playing as he is. I did find it quite strange how last season was such a non-event for him, he'd been such a pivotal player in the promotion season and I wasn't with these people who said he wasn't a Premier League player. Interpolic
I'd be surprised if we didn't see Pardew try Guthrie on the right when everyone's back, he'll want to fit him in somehow.

I didn't explain that very well I meant we could hoy him on the right of a 4. We don't have the personel to play 4-3-3 effectively at the mo. Hoy him on the right? Unlikely like. He did 'reet in the Champ and would be more defensively aware a la Raylor.
Interpolic
Hoy him on the right? Unlikely like. That doesn't work and we've seen it before. He did alright on the right in the Championship. It's not out of the question imo, especially now he's matured a bit. We just wouldn't have an orthodox right winger.

[/nonsense] ben arfa for jonas ? Nah, the Jonas identified by McLeish as epitomising what we're all about and giving him as a n example for CNZ to follow instead of tweeting sulks??? Undroppable at the minute whereas HBA simply has not done enough to warrant a place in the team.

Wouldn't have been N'Zogbia as he hadn't tweeted yet, he took off Ireland after telling him he didn't work hard enough tracking back for our 1st goal, Ireland turned round and told him feck off. Well thats whats being reported.

TherealnorthernTOON
Must give credit to the lad today. Just oozes with confidence at the mo. Just seeing him making dribbles in the middle of the park, running at villas midfield to open up space. Just wonderfull. Just wish he was a tad faster and he could easily become one of the best imo. Just got the most of it going forward.

Good to see his growing confidence as he has always struck me as not being very vocal before.
